QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 28 2010, 10:45 PM) eh 70200 VRII, last time heard that the internal thread of this lens will produce flakes and drop off? can be seen when zoomed at 200mm see from the front? the issue still exists? And abut the breathing issue, i dont really get it. At close focus distance, 200mm is only 130mm+? so from 130-200mm on that range u can't see it being tight at all? |

QUOTE(zellleonhart @ Apr 28 2010, 10:55 PM) eh 70200 VRII, last time heard that the internal thread of this lens will produce flakes and drop off? can be seen when zoomed at 200mm see from the front? the issue still exists? I think so, but I didn't notice them on my lens. And abut the breathing issue, i dont really get it. At close focus distance, 200mm is only 130mm+? so from 130-200mm on that range u can't see it being tight at all? Breathing issue means like at 1.4m distance (min focusing distance), zoomed to 200mm is equivalent to 130mm+ only. LOL. Sorta like my 105mm |
