just remember something...maxis now diam2 working on their ftth projects...

now, i believe once they launch, 90% they will bundle it with astro service or, to make it interesting, astro channels as VAS...which will make unifi hypptv channels look like s**t...

so to those unifi CS and TM staff that reading this, please inform ur product mgmt & marketing group to revise ur plan/package (unbunble it)...and try to make everyone jump on unifi wagon b4 maxis comes up with a more interesting one...

i of course will support tm (i have my reasons & i'm not a staff). but if maxis comes with a more interesting offer, then i have to follow which ever convinient and better deal for money...

Actually even for SingTel, there are problems with international connectivity for certain locations:

The area covered is the by the Shah Alam exchange. Still it is wrong for them to say just "Shah Alam" and not make it clear..

Even already got green tm dustbin in front of my house since last year. i ask tm they said only 1st july it will covered. stupid la.. actually they also dont know which part in shah alam the unifi already covered. they need to insert address into the system to check service availability.

It's full SD resolution, but they're either compressing the quality too much, or just have the wrong settings entirely on the encoder.

To my eyes it looks like a really high mp4 compression..... the colours are oversaturated, it looks like they've converted it to progressive format - because there is a shutter / strobing effect, and it's obvious they're blending the fields together because the picture looks soft (out of focus).
They are also having a lot of trouble with interlace flickering - this is flickering you see on horizontal lines / graphics.

At least there's no ghosting effect, so they got 1 thing right.

How they got both progressive artifacts and interlace artifacts at the same time is beyond my understanding.
