What free VOD? Is it free good HD movies like HBO?

It seems like they're still undecided about the FUP yet, which's mean limit cap most likely will be changed. Then why did they want to put cap already? Maybe they want to see how ppl react about the quota and adjust it accordingly later.

They probably just want to get our reaction to the 'news' and collect data. Probably will use the usage data from Unifi users from now till end of the year to finalise things.

IMO, there should be a cap to prevent bandwidth hogger. Just that it need to be revised to higher capacity to accommodate HD contents online.

Look at the quality of Screamyx line when there is no cap. I have some friends downloading/torrenting non stop 24/7 and the only time their PC is off is when there is a power failure.

For now, TM said no cap "FOR NOW", important key word and the purpose is to put out the fire of people disgruntled about it during launching and hopefully more people will sign up.

So you want no cap with sucks HSBB line or sufficient cap with fast reliable HSBB line?

ther will be no cap for now, TM is learning the usage of users. since you guys are complaining about caps, why dont subscribe to it and use it to max so that they will know how we use it.

I do not think it will be "unlimited". Also, don't be surprised that Streamyx will also be capped eventually. Then you will have to choose between caps and let go of the "unlimited". Or you can get a dedicated leased line if you require that.

for the moment TM will "monitor" the usage pattern and there is no cap for download for all packages. However there's no black n white 
they also need to lower the price to become more affordable and to attract more customer. The entry level package should be RM100 or lower not RM149 

Came back from Tmpoint and i subscribed to the Unifi 5mb package    Hopefully everything goes well and i will get it in about 1 weeks time. About the free telephone line, the person in charge says that the number will be different i will not be able to merge my previous telephone number    Just hoping that the capping thing wont be an issue later

HSBB 5mbps "have this no cap" "FOR NOW" thing. That means they can easily cap it in the future. Unless they agree on signing a 2 year contract with NO CAPPING or Reasonable cap bandwidth that most agree on. Dont bother signing up. Promise from word from the Tm CEO alone cannot be trusted, trust ur signed agreement. Black & white sign only talk else ask them fly kite.

well, if they think of bandwith problem, thats their own problem buy not having enough to provide, the hsbb plan is a failure when they implement the cap thinggy!, i mean ppl pay so much just so they can being cap? or just view surfing + HD viewing, obviously alot of us will be doing alot of file transfering + *downloading*, even for my work i frequently transfer my work project via digital! some files may goes up to 1-3gb! imagine it!

For me i think the HSBB is useless lo, for the HSBB entry package need to have a higher speed at least 8 Mbps.... Now already have the normal 4 mbps package, with the HSBB 5Mbps, only 1 Mbps more....

I have just checked the UniFi website, it is still display the 60G cap for 5mbps package? It seems like TM hasn't updated the site or what they said for removing cap is only for temporary care for all the angry customers???

We have to different of "suspended" the cap or "removed" the cap, suspend is only temporary remove the cap...

Also, for the 60G cap is combine cap for 1 month or daily cap of 60G/30Days???

I will wait and see for the few more months to see the customer respond, remember don't fall the same trap that P1 has 
I also doubt about the stablity of streamyx 4mbps, do we always get 80% promised speed like 3.2mbps, can someone share their experience ???

So, will the price of Streamyx be reduced ?
