For chinese pantang believe, during pregnancy, do not renovate or drilling and knocking here and there in the house. Your new born baby will have some cacat physically.

Sorry, if others race or don't believe, just take it as story. tongue.gif

Seems our HSBB is much2 better (in terms of price and download quota) than NZ.

But to compare with other asian countries, like Korea/Japan, they're much cheaper.

Don't know should I be thankful or mad.  tongue.gif

To some, it's paying an additional RM9.00 and you get 4.5Mbps extra of upload bandwidth.
*
To some others its a bargain cos you get a DECT Phone and extra 8MB with a TV set top box.
Never mind the current cap cos TM is just starting up with their infrastructure investment. Once most of the country has enough infra to cater the service I believe they will reduce the cap due to increased bandwith.
But to some extent, I would agree that prices for streamyx should be lowered. 3BB (thailand) offers 4MB @ 590 Baht only which is more or less RM80 (Thailand would be a better comparison than Singapore as Singapore is a small developed country whereas Malaysia and Thailand are developing countries).

My recommendation for the prices of Streamyx Packages (with wifi modem, unlimited monthly access ) would be :

Speed Price
384KB RM50
512KB RM65
1MB RM75
2MB RM90
4MB RM110

well, screw those cheapskates ppl here who been complaining about the cap (which has been lifted) and the price (which most likely they can't afford)!
I'm not surprised if most of them are not listed in the Q1 of the implementation.

i just subscribed to 20mb and will be able to use it by next week. wohoo!

I wouldn't say screw them.. it's because of these people that they lifted the cap in the first place.

Ladies and Gentlemen, May I present you with Exhibit A, a short-sighted and poorly informed consumer. This specimen easily falls for corporate tricks, thinking that he gets a good deal when in fact is being short changed.

You do realise you have a 2 year contract, and the caps they hit you with later is part of your T&C and you can't do much about it? How short sighted of you. Just because we can afford something, doesn't mean we should pay for it. Even if I can afford a RM5 cup of milo, doesn't mean its right for a road-side mamak to charge me that much for a cup.
