Any speedtest result im not able to post now...im at work right now...sorry

Ok about the router...they gave me wireless N from dlink if im not mistaken...i havent tested using my own router but i believe u can use ur own router....the reason bcoz the router is connected to another device called fiber i cant remember the name...so basically u will have this '1 fiber device' and ur router...

They gave me a cordless phone too...not sure what brand...

Sorry i dont play any games...

Anything else?

Im not that good in internet stuff...i usually get confused with the speed unit....MB and Mb

Anyways, about the 150 ppl being selected to test it,this was what ive been told by the tm guy during the installation of unifi...im not sure 150 total per city or state...but i live in shah alam...i will start paying this service soon after the test period ends..not sure to continue or not...scared will be the same as wimax...still have streamyx with me...i will take a picture of the modem n post it here so u guys can take a look later after work...

the user lalala_lalala cannot differentiate 20mbps thinking it should download 20MB/s ...

if hes downloading at 2MB/s then it should be just right ..

the beta tester are those ppl to test out the connection in the area if the installation of laying down of cables and stress test .. i will be at my bro's house this weekend to test out the HSBB and see if the speed is constant and no disconnections ..
*
Im not sure speed is constant or not...i dont usually check...but i can tell u no dc problem since they installed it to my hse.

Since streamyx is getting even cheaper, now im not sure to continue with my hsbb...might just cancel it...i dont think it's worth with the limited data..

That's what most P1 subscribers get INITIALLY!
Typical marketing strategy, the old 'bait and hook' scam!

That u have to read the contract urself. I seriously do not recommend getting HSBB until they have proper draft in the bandwidth cap issue in 2year contract agreement where it is reasonable.

60GB per month is NOT enough even for simple youtubing. It should be 5 times of that, say 300GB.

Good point

i think capping is good for those who r not heavy user

coz if not then these guys will leave their PC online 24/7 downloading stuff which will eventually make the connection slow for others

Where is your location? How long it takes for the technician to install the service?
*
Shah Alam....it took 5 hours to set up the unit and to drill holes through wall and all that kind of stuff....so far after 2 months using unifi, speed is just ok for me
