QUOTE(SeaMonster @ Apr 10 2010, 12:42 AM) Packages have 5mbps/10mbps/20mbps upload speed. Streamyx lags when you use PPStream because it basically saturates the uplink which is only 384kbps-512kbps. So far on my VIP20 I've been able to download at 2.0MB/s and still play online games without any lag. |

On 5mb package and can confirm that running PPStream does not kill your ability to surf / msn. Didn't try playing online games though

QUOTE(igothack @ Apr 10 2010, 03:44 PM) Dir-615 revision G1 but you wont find any reviews on it because its custom built for TM. This revision has a totally different chipset inside and is smaller than the others too. |

This router has been on my desk for almost 2 years already.
Wireless N is kinda weak but does the job. The original color of it is black with silver front. Old stuff anyway. The last time I got it was like under RM200 that time. The box is orange in color under the DLink N Series routers. Then I upgraded to the DIR-655 with tri-antennas. Never failed me till today. |
