VIP5 user here, installation for my house took only 2 hours (from the time they arrive till they leave).

Description of installation 'config':
i. Phone pole around 25 feet in the back alley
ii. PC room is upstairs (behind)
iii. TV downstairs (front)

They pulled the fiber line from the phone pole to the PC room (1 hole drilled). PC room contains BTU, dect and router. From PC room to downstairs TV setup box is via RJ45 cable.

2 installers, both employed directly under TM.

So from the PC room to the TV downstairs via RJ45, the length of the cable is quite long right? They drilled holes to pull the cable downstairs too?

they got nail the rj45 cable to the wall for u?? along the ceiling... or just help drill hole. then sendiri paku? some picture would be nice. was thinking of doing same thing like u. router near pc, iptv box near tv

Quite long 5m - 10m I guess? For my case I already have telephone wires with those hook nails running from my PC room to my TV area, so the installer just followed the same path without drilling. Cables exits the PC room via the free room under the door.

On 5mb package and can confirm that running PPStream does not kill your ability to surf / msn. Didn't try playing online games though

To whoever people who has installed it,

1. how was the services?
2. which package that you are using it? is it worth the money when use it?
3. Any additional charges if exceeding the monthly usage?
4. Any other hidden charges, maybe?

Please help me answer this because my family are also planning to have this service. ty

1. internet's good, didn't really bother much about the phone and iptv service
2. on 5mb package. my area only supports up to 1mb for streamyx, so compared to 1mb blockbuster rm110 it's worth it
3. for internet none so far. phone rates as advertised. for iptv vod they will reset to 100.1k points every month, each vod video only costs 10 points.
4. no hidden charge so far, installation hardware, cables, cable housing all free as promised

@azrinarizz

staying same area as you, on vip5 coming from streamyx 512k package - extremely satisfied with the speed of course

although i must say my streamyx had been pretty much rock stable (with exception of the broken cable incidents) since i applied back in 2002
