to TM bashers;

please stop...u'all not contributing a single cent in this thread...

ok, TM sucks...so whats your solution...???

does ranting can solve the problems...???

i see many forumers ranting bout P1 in their official thread...but did they progress...??

NO

so how would you think by bashing TM here in this thread, with the services that still not proven success or fail yet, will help TM or Malaysia to progress...???
please, explain to us....
*
its not blindly bashing, many of us just voice out our opinions, based on our current experience on Streamyx services

if we can't even be allowed to complain, then what's the use of this subsection, to praise Najib on implementing his 1Malaysia into HSBB?

and I have voiced out dissatisfaction on the super slow Youtube and video streaming in this thread, but it seems nobody willing to take note, I can't have high hopes on HSBB if they can't even provide decent services on Streamyx level. That TM Staff please explain on the recent slowdown on video streaming sites

to all others, what makes you think that HSBB will be a success

Even funnier... I selected that I'm willing to spend RM150 and below... then I selected "Internet Gaming", "8 Hours" and sharing with "3-4 people including me"... They recommended the RM250 package!
*
Weird.. I selected "RM150 and below", "Download file transfer", "8 hours", sharing with "3-4 people", then recommend me VIP 10.

Internet Gaming requires more bandwidth than Download? Lol?

Hi All,

I just called HSBB Hotline to double confirm.

All the download for bandwidth cap, is included for local, if you using download from local ip more than 60gb, you consider reach the limit.
*
....????

~sigh~

they did it again...same old, same old...

The cap is ridiculous.

5mbps with 60GB cap?
Then the biggest package is 120GB?

It doesn't even scale, you get 4x the speed but only twice the bandwidth limit? wtf?

I would likely subscribe if the 5mbps package comes with 120-150GB limit. 60GB is way too little for that kind of speed.

Might be more worth it to pay for the biz package.
*
yup , i also think is very little....
IPTV alrady sucks some of the volume..

hehe, I will wait and see.... and they should lower the price of the current broadband....

base on the formula, 100M like you going to pay RM1490?? 1GB line will pay RM14900 ?? hahahaha

so for 20Mb line with 120Gb quota, local + international DOWNLOADS are counted...uploads not counted?

sad sad day, local bandwidth is practically free for tm and yet its included into the quota...

Hello aerobowl.

By the way IPTV uses dedicated line so won't affect your internet usage.

i did not say the price is cheap and i could afford it or something. that's y i said, the price is kinda premium but it's ok coz i know how hard is it to implement HSBB & the cost to make it here in our country.
I too hope the price would be cheaper in the future, but u don't see me bashing TM or the gomen just coz i can't get the price i wanted now, right?
btw, i'm not as old as u think i am. smile.gif
*
looking at date u join LYN also tells u r like +- 3 years than me...

bet u, u even know who i am if i tell u my name & which department i was b4...

back to d topic...yes i know it's VERY hard + costly to implement + operation the HSBB, but still it's way too expensive for majority of malaysian to afford...just imagine, those can afford internet also come here bashing the price. wut about those currently do not have access to internet (cannot afford current broadband services) feel when they see the pricing plan...

anyway...all of them have the right to come in here and do the bashing since i think this is one of the medium where TM & gomen read & response, right? (i think ramai TM staff from HSBB & marketing group reading this forum...hahahaha).

and u...and all other TM staff also can come here to defend urself if u want to...no sweat...

cheers....

i read in previous post stated that the total quota is spread-ed equally to days, which mean they will cap us based on daily usage, let say 60gb/30= 2gb everyday, some ppl pls verify this? and hw fast are our connection after being capped?

I'd say making local and international bandwidth contribute to your cap is common practice (in most countries, at least). It would be nice if they provide some local download servers that are "free bandwidth", but hey, I guess we can't expect much from TM, right?

The more important question: Does anybody know if upload bandwidth contributes to the cap?

I dun believe the statement...... the bandwidth is coming in is the same IP.... they do caching and capping base on IP.....
