wow, that is ridiculous

I would understand capping international connections, but LOCAL ones too? You sure the person you talked to knows anything?

to TM bashers;

please stop...u'all not contributing a single cent in this thread...

ok, TM sucks...so whats your solution...???

does ranting can solve the problems...???

i see many forumers ranting bout P1 in their official thread...but did they progress...??

NO

so how would you think by bashing TM here in this thread, with the services that still not proven success or fail yet, will help TM or Malaysia to progress...???
please, explain to us....
*
my friend...believe me...P1 do progress albeit very slowly...

with only few years operations + number of staff, their progress is way faster then TM which decades in the industry and 30000 of staff...

yes it is terribly disappointing...imagine, watching yesterdays live stream of the unifi launch being counted towards your quota, who is going to watch?

Simple.

If we are not satisfied with the packages offered by UNIFI, refrain from subscribing.

When TM sees their mighty new service has a grand total of 0 subscribers, they will reconsider the package / pricing / download cap etc.. or waste all their investments..

The power is in us customers..

You're right... RM199 for 5Mbps SME package... no caps! More worth it than a 10Mbps connection with 90GB cap.

yup , i also think is very little....
IPTV alrady sucks some of the volume..

hehe, I will wait and see.... and they should lower the price of the current broadband....

base on the formula, 100M like you going to pay RM1490?? 1GB line will pay RM14900 ?? hahahaha
*
I saw there are two cables. I think one is for internet, another one is for IPTV.

residential cant use business package, business package need company name included.

please note the Download and upload cap is included.

if you download 10GB and upload 10GB = 20GB

also from so called customer service from hsbb

lets see, if we subscribe the 5mbps package, fair usage policy is 60G, after exceeding 60G, the speed will be reduce to 20~40% of the subscribed speed, i think is fine, as i still get around 1M to 1.Xmbps. besides, u get to watch iptv also that is not included in the bandwidth limit. so i think is kinda worth actually. if u are about to compare the iptv channels with other ISP, then i think u guys are not fair for tmnet. just compare with the US isp that some other forumer posted above just now. how much they already spent on the fiber optic infrastructure, how long they already using this technology..

The caps are not a problem, but its way too low. I would prefer to see something like 150GB cap on 5mbps, which seems alot more reasonable to me considering the speed.
