The billions from this HSBB project is sponsored by the Gov. Aka taxpayer's money. Aka OUR MONEY.Hey, if our Gov willing to have an open tender and give license to other service provider to do the job and sponsor whoever can get the best package at the most reasonable price, you think other ISP like Digi, Maxis etc cannot do?? Because the billions are handed over to TM for nothing, in which it is used to feed the crony ( who obviously wants to makan a lot and charge high price for substandard service). So in the end, instead of paying RM10 billion to do the same job, you need RM20 billion to do it. And who shall bear the cost? Why, the consumer of course.
RM9.1b from TM, the rest is from government
& i can bet you dont have any idea since when did TM installed their infra to get ready with HSBB (they even have facilities ready for Wimax before), & i can bet u thought that RM9.1b is a real cash money...
~sigh~
you know how the politics work here...you know how the Malaysia works...
you know right Maxis do have FTTH project running right now..??
how do they get it..???
you know right that berjaya & GP got license to do wimax nationwide...??
how do they get it...???
you know right that there's other ISPs already provide BB...???
how do they get it...???
besides "kroni", any other excuse...???
why small scale, eventhough they were kroni...???
for the HSBT proposal, maybe gomen rejected them because of this for example;

PETALING JAYA: High Speed Broadband Technology Sdn Bhd (HSBT) is finalising a RM2bil bridging loan facility with several local banks to fund the rollout of its high speed broadband network over the next two years.
Do other ISPs have RM billions cash ready or infra-worth-billions-ready for HSBB with strong financial background...???
i guess thats how they play the game
