Hi there,

i am interested to calibrated my v20, where can u purchase the calibration disc such as Spears & Munsil (S&M) and Digital Video Essential (DVE) locally?

Thanks
*
Sorry i have no idea where to get them in MY. I usually shop for blu-rays on amazon.

http://www.amazon.com/Spears-Munsil-High-D...y/dp/B001UM29OC

http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Video-Essent...0/ref=pd_cp_d_0

I have both, but would suggest that you just go for the S&M over the DVE as they have more useful test patterns and a 3x blue filter for Color (Saturation) and Tint (Hue) controls.

Went shopping at Jusco Mid-Valley yesterday & came across the 42" Panny V20k on offer for RM3599! Without hesitation, quickly slide my CC for it. Furthermore got 12 mths interest free installment. rclxm9.gif I have been waiting for the price of this model to drop since many2 months ago. Got bundled together a Panny Bluray player for RM459 (which has a price tag of RM999). rclxms.gif

My dream of having a Plasma has finally come true! Yahoooooooo icon_idea.gif ....err...just a noob question...how many hours do we have to run-in a new TV? Or do we really need to anyway? hmm.gif

I think it's about 50 sens more per night watching. Worth the extra thousands of Ringgit for the LED?

i think i bought from him as well, good service and explanation as he from Panasonic attached to Jusco...some more can bargain for the last batch of my s series 2009 plasma tv....below is the right step to check the running hours...

===================================

# Hold down the {VOL -} button ON THE PLASMA TV itself. Not Remote
# Press the {RECALL} button on the remote control 3 times
# The Service Menu will be displayed.

# Use the {2} buttons to select "SRV-TOOL"
and press the {OK} button to access it.

# HIGHLIGHT the box on the right side of the last option: (Navigate by using the arrow buttons on the remote)
_______________________________________
PTCT :00.00.00.00.00 HIGHLIGHT HERE

# Then press and hold the {MUTE} button on the remote for 3 seconds.

TIME = Hours and Minutes of Operation.
COUNT = Times the Plasma was Powered On.

# To exit, press & hold the {POWER} button ON THE TV for few seconds.

Generally speaking, once bought, people shouldn't go around asking whether it's a good bargain or not. We will all say it's a great bargain. No point crying over spilled milk if it wasn't.

BTW, I have no idea what is the price of your TV but I will still say it's a great bargain. icon_rolleyes.gif
