We got one fella here who manage to get the 50U with BD player for only 4k. But in Melaka. Even if send by 1st class courier service still got lots of balance RM left

at last, the fella din not get the P50U20 because the person in charge of the shop ask him to wait until 14 of june... he can't wait because world cup will start on 11 of june... the fella is very angry and unsatisfy with the services that provided by the shop ... and so yesterday the fella just bought a samsung ps50-C550 RM4100 + Sony 790x home theatre RM2000 total RM6100 ....FREE Tv bracket + garfield HDMI cable + fiber optic audio cable + COAX audio cable ...

we pay so much but only get stereo?

Malaysian V20 =/= UK V20.
For display, our V20 is Infinite Black only without the Pro. Europe V20 is with Infinite Black Pro. For better comparison on display, check out the review for Europe G20 or US G25.

Totally (or very nearly) black? That's flagship stuff and doesn't come cheap.

Try the VT20 (3D as a bonus available after Aug2010) or even better yet, the KRP-500 if you can still find one.

Just got my 50" v20 today from harvey norman. Initially booked the 42" but Panasonic messed up with the stock system, there is no stock for 42' until end of the month. For compensation, harvey norman upgrade my 42" to 50" at no extra charges.

Overall, good service from Harvey Norman Midvalley. Especially the manager Mr. Leicester for his good service 

You are lucky if you see the black levels of U and V are the same. For most of us, V is much more superior. Save your money and buy the U

For me even in a bright room, the black level differences between the U20 and V20 are clear.

hi guys, just wanted to find out if the current u series in the market have the rising black issue? the 50" u series is the same as which model in the us/europe?

i am torn between getting the 50" u series or pay a bit more for the bravia 46ex400 or splurge on the 50" v series (which is a little pricey). my av room is 15"x13". just to add - i normally use it for gaming (ps3), hook up to ac ryan and bluerays

Because I'm trying to get the idea of 24p playback issue on the Core i3. Some say if the TV support the native 24p, then it's ok.

Yes, only for today. They even have additional tent (outside the shop) with lucky draws and clown doing tricks for customer.
