To access service menu which I got from the Panny S10 thread here (be careful when accessing service menu and do not change any settings there):

CODE

# Hold down the {VOL -} button ON THE PLASMA TV itself. Not Remote
# Press the {RECALL} button on the remote control 3 times
# The Service Menu will be displayed.

# Use the {2} buttons to select "SRV-TOOL"
and press the {OK} button to access it.

# HIGHLIGHT the box on the right side of the last option: (Navigate by using the arrow buttons on the remote)
_______________________________________
PTCT :00.00.00.00.00 HIGHLIGHT HERE

# Then press and hold the {MUTE} button on the remote for 3 seconds.

TIME = Hours and Minutes of Operation.
COUNT = Times the Plasma was Powered On.

# To exit, press & hold the {POWER} button ON THE TV for few seconds.

Erm ... can clarify what do you mean by "online movie"?

If you mean downloaded movies (bittorrent?), yes, but that will depend on your source.

You can check out the quality of your V20 just by seeing a good DVD thru a DVD player that can upscale to 1080p. I think you can see some difference from the X20.

The best is that you view a Bluray movie ... real close upfront (I mean that literally ie less than 6 feet away). Then you compare with the X20 on the detail, brightness and colour clarity as well as the contrast. Then you'll see why V20 > X20.

You will see the difference if you know what to expect from the two different tv. If your eyes are not able to pick the difference, then it is better to buy the X20 series since the V20 cost double the price.
Moreover, when you are watching the tv at home, there is no other tv to compare. You won't know when there is a slight drop in quality.

I have seen the A n X series bcos the dealer sent me the wrong set instead of my V, there is nite and day difference in terms of clarity, contrast and colour, even my son commented why the A series so blur.... the V makes Astro watchable....

I also noticed some shops are selling the TH-P42X28K and some shops are selling the TH-P42X20K. Are there any difference between these two models? Which one is the newer model?

Double check if its P50X20K and P42X28K? Apparently, only 2 models for Malaysia. Both are 2010 models.

From what I can find out, they are technically the same. Possibly the only difference is that the X20K can swivel and X28K cannot. Or the other way around, I can't remember ...

Both should be the same, maybe some different in cosmetic and X20K I believe was customised for Carrefour.
