I've seen the V20 and thought it's very good. Anyone here knew what's the price of the Z 54'' or the 65'' V10?

Can't afford those yet, but a friend of mine is very keen on getting a bigger than 50'' plasma :-)

just wait for the bigger 58 or 65 new model . i heard it's coming in , fourth quarter this year

u mean there's 58'' and 65'' for the V20 series? Didn't aware of that :-)

V20 stops at 50". If you're looking for bigger than 50", you got to wait for VT20. And there's no 58"

yes , there will be 50 ,54 ,58 and 65 inch panny introduced later this year for the 3D VT25 series announced in the panny USA pressroom statement.

infact the king of electronic consumer market USA will have the 65'' as soon as this month

similar sizes as abovementioned for VT20 will be made available for selected asia pacific market . hope malaysia is among panny targeted market


the 54'' V20 (non-Thx and non I.B. Pro panel )will be introduced this month to asia pacific region and the australian market could be the first to have it at RRP A$ 2,999.

btw, the 50 V20 for aussie market is made in thailand .

see who is stronger and last longer ,(malaysian market , made in singapore or aussie market ,made in thailand

from what i know , at the moment , all V series 3D version are manufactured in Japan

how about these professional series?

They are meant for professional installs. They will configure your outputs (HDMI board, component, no tuner) and they typically cost more.

However, a review of this years PF series indicate that the black levels do not match the VT series. Also there is no CMS.

how much for 65" Panny Plasma Full HD??

wonder if i start saving today, would i be able to afford it by next year?

if you live in the US , the price starts from US$ 4k+ for the VT25 65''


so much fun livin' in the USA but i heard durian there is pretty expensive

The VT65 won't be cheap. My guess is over 20k. For that price better buy the kuro 60inches

Z54 = Rm16500

65V10 = RM19500

the 65V10 looks good...

thought the 65v10 is priced lower compare to the 54Z in oversea?

Woot!! Just bought my friend's 42V20. He's upgrading to 50V20. He's tired of me going over to his house and playing around the 42V20 more than he does lol. Persistence pays off! Yeah, baby!! LOL

it really is a pretty good plasma tv. go play more with your new toys and let us know your satisfaction level

i thought RM2599 can get with a Panny 5.1 home theatre some more ?? a satelite speakers one of cuz.


that, my bro,depends on how we play with our toys, i couldnt believe my eyes at first too.Depends on the salesperson too, the one i met explained & demo to me few hours(few trips to his shop some more,next to my office,hehe),not on contrast or crystal clear or vibrant colors pics , but on 'missing details' part. Till now i couldnt understand why Philips are able to capture 'missing details' when others couldnt (comparing same range) & yet Philips contrast,color & stuffs are far more 'laoya' than others..
It's beyond words,only believable when we see it with our own eyes.At that moment,i was wondering how on earth could i missed this part when it was juz in front of my eyes?. (i didnt buy though,owned other brand alrdy!)haha! . But honestly,the current Philips are not better than 2009 models, sad~~

To me,the salesperson's real important,bcuz they spent hours in front of those babies. Specs & reviews can help us a lil' but may not be true after all. Standing in front of the screen at roadshows & showrooms for a short period of time only indirectly leads us to buy what the shop is trying to sell(with the best output source only on what they wanna sell of course!).There arent many shops who'll really use same source for each brand comparing side by side.I m glad the one i met did,allowing me to adjust whatever i want on each available brand ( fair at least ).

For me, V20 is a damn good HDTV. It was the only TV I am looking for since I started hunting for one which was the end of last year. Almost got the G10 but waited patiently for the 2010 models. Although a little disappointed with the trimmed down Europe V20 version, but the PQ is one of the best in the market currently.

As for my friend's set, I was there when they delivered and installed it for him and I practically setup and played the TV together with my friend.

He bought at RM4,999 with Samsung BD-P1600 BD player and sold me at a price that is an exception and cannot be used for comparison. I was at my friend's place playing with his 42V20 until he was fedup lol. So, he took pity on me. Anyway, he wanted something bigger and upgraded to 50" V20. Rest assuredly, I'm very happy with the price.

Current best price (I know of) for 42V20 is about RM4,500-RM4,600 for TV only.

Whether good or not, you will have to see for yourself. I absolutely love it.
