Hi bros,
I'm actually a bit confuse by the process, from paying booking fee -> car collection? What is the actual process, as I have hear so many different version of the story, and I think it is just SA trying to cover their own ass and confuse us with the process..FYI my booking is for 2.0 unit I understand that we have to pay the booking fee at first, but is the vehicle "allocated" at this point? typically, I made my loan application right after paying the booking fee. My SA said that to make thing faster I should pay the full payment first, without waiting for my current car trade in. I want to ask, is he just taking me for a ride, or will paying the full downpayment help to speed up the allocation process? Or will I also have to wait for the LOU from my bank loan to be completed as well? Also, I keep hearing him say "the stock is locked for other customer", but he also said my car has already been allocated upon payment of booking fee. What does it mean locked for other customer? is it the same as allocated? or does it mean when allocated, means they will only start to ship the stock in from Korea? At which point can we make the JPJ registration for the vehicle? Hope the bros here who have already been through this able to help explain a bit...first time I deal with so "ulu" dealer like Naza... |

QUOTE(toyotarave @ Mar 15 2010, 05:04 PM) I think T and H are good cars just that we have had no other reasonable choices for reliability thats all and because the other brands had no experience building good cars - now that technology is accessible to those who can afford it - means that the consumer can choose - (with another comment but better hold back in case kena caught) Yaa..no doubt that T&H cars are good & reliable. My father & my brother also own a T & H cars respectively..both cars turned out to be as good & as reliable as it supposed to be. only the fact that both cars are highly overprice with the under-specced features that turned me off. an emergence of Forte with better & high-end specs, on par (if not better) build quality & yet at a very reasonable price make it an obvious choice for me to buy it. Sorry to T&H owners & fan..it is the facts indeed |

Hope the bros here who have already been through this able to help explain a bit...first time I deal with so "ulu" dealer like Naza... basically allocated means the chassis is book to your name - in NAZA's system (which can be change).. I believe branches wanted the owner to place the DP as soon as possible and ready loan approve to make sure the delivery wouldn't be delayed ( but too early isn't good as well), imagine car allocated but loan isn't approve, usually it will be pass to the next waiting person in that branch. For my case I purchase from Dealer, the dealer quite selamba , no deposit just book require and he manage his delivery sequence (1st come 1st serve lor), so when the car is ready to be deliver he will ask all payment to be prepare 1 week in advance. your car allocation got nothing to do with Korea stock delivery. All are locally manage means cars is on Malaysia's shore d ! in order to register the car it requires a document call K1 to be release on JPJ system, insurance have to be ready (to get insurance you must have the chassis & engine number- number only given to you when all payment are clear)then only you can proceed with registration Added on March 15, 2010, 5:57 pm QUOTE(mc_groven @ Mar 15 2010, 05:46 PM) Yes..I had checked in few showrooms unit, all SX comes with 17inch sport rim as spare tyre. Just got a call from my SA bout 30 mins ago, he gave me some news, saying that they are ready to do allocation for the 2.0 unit booked from that branch (not sure if other bro here book the 2.0 from Subang SS17?) this 1-2 days, so once the chassis number is available can go ahead with JPJ registration and insurance. I have agreed to my SA that I will pay the full downpayment once chassis number has been allocated to me. But having JPJ registration doesn't mean we can get the car soon, base on what some of our bros here faced with the 1.6 previously. I understand from my SA that there are about 17 units of 2.0 "reserved" for SS17 branch so far and they will work down the list, starting with people who booked in December onwards. Hopefully there are enough units in stock to cater for all 17 from this branch. Anyway, just thought I give an update. Hope other bros here can contact their SA and see if the "story" is the same |

for my understanding, normally will pay booking fee--> apply loan--> wait for car come--> pay downpayment --> registration JPJ--> happily take new car home.....
but due to the problem facing by forte owner to get their car, many ppl rather pay the full d/p before the car arrive to make sure the SA allocate the car to them. for my case, i am lucky as i got to see my car ready stock before i pay full d/p |
