Hi all, just spoke to an SA (not my SA) and he said that they still have not done the allocation for the 2.0 as there are still issues with kastam mad.gif . They are waiting for their call from HQ before they can start the allocation provided all kastam issues are sorted, but he was optimistic they will start allocating end of this month or early April. I know the 2.0 is already in the showroom and one forummer's earlier post (can't remember which) said he will be getting his 2.0 today. I hope this SA is just bs me, or else it looks like it may be longer wait for all of us sad.gif Anyone got any news from their SA on the 2.0, or even better, has actually received their 2.0?

Stock 17" alright with the hole on the road? My friend said the tyre too thin, might hurt the rims if drop into hole on the road. Colleague said it consider thick enough for 17" rims. Wondering should I change....

Guess mine will take a while as I wanted to tender for a number in WTT xxxx (since the WTR and WTS numbers would have been gone by now) - my wife's favorite number what to do. Was informed that each alphabet takes around a week to finish, and today its already WTR 1000+ numbers already

You're sure man? ..215/40 R18 wheels can .. coz only 0.62% increase in radius. But so thin tyre profile ... flex.gif

Change of tyre thickness, will change the diameter of whole rim.
This will affect your speedometer, the speed show on the meter may be wrong after that.

Aduhai...get soo excited 2.0 coming senang kena conned...somemore I told the SA that I "heard" someone is receiving their 2.0 today....patutlah the SA gave me a blur look.... blush.gif.....so as all the SAs are now "quiet" about the allocation, looks like we have to wait for the 22nd to see what happens next. Hopefully some other forumer will have some good intel on the status of the 2.0s... hmm.gif

I used to drive a yellow satria with black rims.. just 15" ... it definitely looks nice at night as the shine from the rim stand out lik a mirror (might hav over exaggerated abit xP).. if u goin for black rims.. dunnit get so big cuz the color givs the illusion of it being quite big..

Don't you know that since the 2006 NAP, Japanese makes with ASEAN origin CKD have ZERO import duty, and can get 100% excise duty exemption (ZERO excise duty) due to their parts being of ASEAN origin (Malaysian Govt. considers it 'local' parts).

Basically they just pay for local assembly (around RM1500-2000/car) and Sales Tax 10%. Do you know what this means? Get the picture?

However, the Japanese have NOT reduced their prices since 2006 have they? Bash me if you want but I'm supporting the brand that gives Malaysians more specs, better build quality and nice designs WITHOUT charging them an arm and a leg.

I like the last phrase "I'm supporting the brand that gives Malaysians more specs, better build quality and nice designs WITHOUT charging them an arm and a leg". That phrase has something to do with Forte as a value for money car right? i share the same thought...& yup, not worth buying a 'tin kosong', overpriced & over rated T&H cars.

T&H salesman just goyang kaki wait for their 'preys' to come to them. No need go hunt also. That's how malaysian reacts. They just can't 'resist' Ts and Hs.

So no matter how rediculous T&H prices are, they'll still get customer. You can say that they're same as alcohol and cigarettes biggrin.gif

I think T and H are good cars just that we have had no other reasonable choices for reliability thats all and because the other brands had no experience building good cars - now that technology is accessible to those who can afford it - means that the consumer can choose - (with another comment but better hold back in case kena caught)
