for my understanding, normally will pay booking fee--> apply loan--> wait for car come--> pay downpayment --> registration JPJ--> happily take new car home.....

but due to the problem facing by forte owner to get their car, many ppl rather pay the full d/p before the car arrive to make sure the SA allocate the car to them.

for my case, i am lucky as i got to see my car ready stock before i pay full d/p

agreed, let them enjoy thmeself in their lower spec, overprice T and H, while we enjoy our great forte in more comfort.

my loan approved, agreement signed, d/p paid, car number bought, even tinted done, now only waiting for JPJ document to be approved, then i get drive my forte home....hehehe...

normally wat i see members get is:

door visor
tint(free or discount voucher)
touch and go
full tank petrol
some even with cash rebate up to RM500...

i sure it depends on individual SA on how desperate they want to increase their sales.

for my case, i only manage to get discount tint, and full tank petrol as of current, i havent get my car.

agreed, in fact, we should reserved a portion of our salary for our parents.

let me do a simple calculation, as i also been through the period where i get my 1st car wit 1.8k salary:

2k salary after deduct EPF = 1.8k

1.8k let said you stay with parents = RM300 to parents

left 1.5k, everyday breakfast and lunch outside(dinner at home), RM8~10 perday = RM200

left 1.3k, petrol, let said travel 50km perday, one month 1500km, let said FC 8l/100km = rm220

left 1 k, internet, phone, i would said around Rm150~200

left 800, lets not forget the half yearly maintainence of the car....

so i would not recommend to get a car at monthly of paying RM 500 or more......for my case when i get my 1st car, i op for proton saga lmst for 8 years, monthly at 460....then i can save some money....

with too less cash in hand, and cant pay too much monthly.....
i have no choice but to give the bank more........

ask you guys one question, this morning my SA call me and told me that if i want my car today, i can follow him to JPJ this afternoon to settle everything and take car. if i nv go then need to wait until monday only can take car.......

is this the procedure?

speak to the SA about the 2.0 issue, he said 2.0 issue still not solve yet.... tan sri is still in talk with the country top management to release the car due to complain from proton, seem like they proton want protect their perdana or the replacement model future which will be sold at 110k...
he also said last time 1.6 also same issue... just that 1.6 complain from T and H. but proton is more difficult to deal with because gov protect mah....

no, the SA told me, 1.6 is complain from T and H, which is no connection with Gov, so easy settle. 2.0 complain by proton, gov protect, so still not settle. this is by SA, not me.

phew, just finish changing my front emblem and wheel sticker, back emblem havent change yet, becoz start to rain......

the process of clearing the remaining adhesive was a pain man......
