for my understanding, normally will pay booking fee--> apply loan--> wait for car come--> pay downpayment --> registration JPJ--> happily take new car home.....
but due to the problem facing by forte owner to get their car, many ppl rather pay the full d/p before the car arrive to make sure the SA allocate the car to them. for my case, i am lucky as i got to see my car ready stock before i pay full d/p |

QUOTE(Blinque @ Mar 17 2010, 11:07 AM) Speaking about this, I am already fed-up trying to argue with ppl asking me "why Kia?" agreed, let them enjoy thmeself in their lower spec, overprice T and H, while we enjoy our great forte in more comfort.Every time I say Forte, they start shaking their head... I so lazy to argue, I just let them win and I just keep quiet most of the time... |

QUOTE(olitabin @ Mar 17 2010, 05:38 PM) Hi.. how to calculate our old car insurance claim?? Claim base on car model or what?? My SA calculate: ya, it should be correct.Perodua Kancil Forte 1.6SX insurance: RM2263.50 My insurance claim: 55% So, 2263.50 x 55% = RM1245.00 So, my dwnpmt (10%): RM8200 - RM500(rebate) - RM1245 = RM6455.00 Please help me varify.. Tq.. |

QUOTE(kh3ngling @ Mar 17 2010, 06:09 PM) I'm definately getting a Forte soon but just wanna find out what kinda free gifts you guys managed to get. Some i don't like the idea the SA been telling me to discuss it once i got the car...by then it's too late. Even if he don't give a shit i still can't do anything...other then enjoying the forte of course!! normally wat i see members get is:door visor tint(free or discount voucher) touch and go full tank petrol some even with cash rebate up to RM500... i sure it depends on individual SA on how desperate they want to increase their sales. for my case, i only manage to get discount tint, and full tank petrol as of current, i havent get my car. |

QUOTE(ching4ever @ Mar 18 2010, 12:40 PM) Not recommended even though he got parent support, someone just got to grow up not spoon feed by parent all the time. No offence but just telling the true, 2k salary after deduct everything, how much does he left? Honestly, even cheap car like BLM also not easy to maintain with that kind of salary. agreed, in fact, we should reserved a portion of our salary for our parents.let me do a simple calculation, as i also been through the period where i get my 1st car wit 1.8k salary: 2k salary after deduct EPF = 1.8k 1.8k let said you stay with parents = RM300 to parents left 1.5k, everyday breakfast and lunch outside(dinner at home), RM8~10 perday = RM200 left 1.3k, petrol, let said travel 50km perday, one month 1500km, let said FC 8l/100km = rm220 left 1 k, internet, phone, i would said around Rm150~200 left 800, lets not forget the half yearly maintainence of the car.... so i would not recommend to get a car at monthly of paying RM 500 or more......for my case when i get my 1st car, i op for proton saga lmst for 8 years, monthly at 460....then i can save some money.... |

Hey guys, i got my 1.6sx today, spicy RED, but raining on the way back....got it dry 1st thing back home.....so happy.
PLease add my name in the list in page 1. speak to the SA about the 2.0 issue, he said 2.0 issue still not solve yet.... tan sri is still in talk with the country top management to release the car due to complain from proton, seem like they proton want protect their perdana or the replacement model future which will be sold at 110k... he also said last time 1.6 also same issue... just that 1.6 complain from T and H. but proton is more difficult to deal with because gov protect mah.... dun know how true is the SA telling. |

QUOTE(twtang @ Mar 19 2010, 09:51 PM) Bro, no, the SA told me, 1.6 is complain from T and H, which is no connection with Gov, so easy settle. 2.0 complain by proton, gov protect, so still not settle. this is by SA, not me.If 1.6SX also have same issue, you wouldn't have gotten the car right? So, I presume both 2.0 and 1.6 issue have already been resolved. Otherwise, 2.0 will not be shown in showroom. Let's wait and see till end of March, we shall see. |
