tat said lets hope 1.6sx can fetch a better resale value because of higher demand for it... it's still a class leader in terms of price

Don't you know that since the 2006 NAP, Japanese makes with ASEAN origin CKD have ZERO import duty, and can get 100% excise duty exemption (ZERO excise duty) due to their parts being of ASEAN origin (Malaysian Govt. considers it 'local' parts).

Basically they just pay for local assembly (around RM1500-2000/car) and Sales Tax 10%. Do you know what this means? Get the picture?

However, the Japanese have NOT reduced their prices since 2006 have they? Bash me if you want but I'm supporting the brand that gives Malaysians more specs, better build quality and nice designs WITHOUT charging them an arm and a leg.

Yaa..no doubt that T&H cars are good & reliable. My father & my brother also own a T & H cars respectively..both cars turned out to be as good & as reliable as it supposed to be. only the fact that both cars are highly overprice with the under-specced features that turned me off. an emergence of Forte with better & high-end specs, on par (if not better) build quality & yet at a very reasonable price make it an obvious choice for me to buy it. Sorry to T&H owners & fan..it is the facts indeed

The heavy beat from the speakers ocassionally will cause the door panels to shake too, but that's only if you're playing bass-heavy songs at a loud volume.
