Hi bros,
I'm actually a bit confuse by the process, from paying booking fee -> car collection? What is the actual process, as I have hear so many different version of the story, and I think it is just SA trying to cover their own ass and confuse us with the process..FYI my booking is for 2.0 unit I understand that we have to pay the booking fee at first, but is the vehicle "allocated" at this point? typically, I made my loan application right after paying the booking fee. My SA said that to make thing faster I should pay the full payment first, without waiting for my current car trade in. I want to ask, is he just taking me for a ride, or will paying the full downpayment help to speed up the allocation process? Or will I also have to wait for the LOU from my bank loan to be completed as well? Also, I keep hearing him say "the stock is locked for other customer", but he also said my car has already been allocated upon payment of booking fee. What does it mean locked for other customer? is it the same as allocated? or does it mean when allocated, means they will only start to ship the stock in from Korea? At which point can we make the JPJ registration for the vehicle? Hope the bros here who have already been through this able to help explain a bit...first time I deal with so "ulu" dealer like Naza... |

QUOTE(titarium @ Mar 15 2010, 05:56 PM) actually it differs from 1 dealer to another .(or one branch to another) basically allocated means the chassis is book to your name - in NAZA's system (which can be change).. I believe branches wanted the owner to place the DP as soon as possible and ready loan approve to make sure the delivery wouldn't be delayed ( but too early isn't good as well), imagine car allocated but loan isn't approve, usually it will be pass to the next waiting person in that branch. For my case I purchase from Dealer, the dealer quite selamba , no deposit just book require and he manage his delivery sequence (1st come 1st serve lor), so when the car is ready to be deliver he will ask all payment to be prepare 1 week in advance. your car allocation got nothing to do with Korea stock delivery. All are locally manage means cars is on Malaysia's shore d ! in order to register the car it requires a document call K1 to be release on JPJ system, insurance have to be ready (to get insurance you must have the chassis & engine number- number only given to you when all payment are clear)then only you can proceed with registration Thanks for your explanation bro, I booked mine from a Naza Kia branch (SS17). Just got a call from my SA bout 30 mins ago, he gave me some news, saying that they are ready to do allocation for the 2.0 unit booked from that branch (not sure if other bro here book the 2.0 from Subang SS17?) this 1-2 days, so once the chassis number is available can go ahead with JPJ registration and insurance. I have agreed to my SA that I will pay the full downpayment once chassis number has been allocated to me. But having JPJ registration doesn't mean we can get the car soon, base on what some of our bros here faced with the 1.6 previously. I understand from my SA that there are about 17 units of 2.0 "reserved" for SS17 branch so far and they will work down the list, starting with people who booked in December onwards. Hopefully there are enough units in stock to cater for all 17 from this branch. Anyway, just thought I give an update. Hope other bros here can contact their SA and see if the "story" is the same |

QUOTE(titarium @ Mar 15 2010, 06:31 PM) Register means can be OTR road d la .... road tax and car also ready d what i just worry that after we register & everything, the car still not in showroom yet..hahahathe problem we face previously was car allocated but cannot register with JPJ ... so owners only drooling at his/her car in the show room only. anyway will keep you guys posted on any updates, i told my SA that he have to give me daily updates otherwise i will keep calling him |

QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 17 2010, 10:43 AM) Good news..but still sceptical about it. My SA still didn't inform me anything From what he said, allocation and registration (if full DP is already paid) can be done this 1-2 days.Anyway, allocation today doesn't mean the car can be registered today right? If DP is not paid yet, then have to pay first before registration. That's what I understand. |

QUOTE(redz3 @ Mar 17 2010, 10:48 AM) Can you ask your SA whether allocation is Hi bro, I will ask my SA about this. Will keep everyone posted on any updates I get.a) done by HQ level or Branch level? b) done base on name&date of booking (queue system)? .... and not by allocating certain number of 2.0 units to certain branch/dealers (I think this is what happened previously to 1.6 .. whereby certain branch can have extra units for ready stock) Thanx for any info. Regarding the 2nd one, I would assume they may follow back the same approach like they did for 1.6, after all, it is Naza SOP |

QUOTE(miet @ Mar 17 2010, 11:05 AM) ppl like to compare forte with vios/city bcos they are in the same price range. Speaking about this, I am already fed-up trying to argue with ppl asking me "why Kia?"They better go home & do some homework ,learn how to categorise things b4 start to compare things. Every time I say Forte, they start shaking their head... I so lazy to argue, I just let them win and I just keep quiet most of the time... |

hi, just spoke to my SA again, according to him the allocation process will be like the 1.6 previously. and it is possible that certain branch/dealer may have priority, base on the number of cars they are able to sell
i guess if a branch/dealer sells more units, Naza will love them more? |

yup, maybe thats why certain branch/dealer can get the car faster (maybe have people who only book in March)
compare to another branch/dealer, who only have 1 booking that was done in November.. pity that guy, he have to wait even longer coz the branch/dealer he book from did not have much sales... |

QUOTE(ruth1977 @ Mar 22 2010, 04:37 PM) I'm not sure, base on my SA info they're only processing about 2 cars every hour. Not sure how accurate that info is, but guess I have no choice but to trust him. His info so far has been quite accurate. Just FYI, WTS number will be open for registration on Thursday onwards. The number I want for WTR already taken (I submitted a list of 20 nums, all taken!) |

QUOTE(toyotarave @ Mar 22 2010, 04:49 PM) Can share your beetifull numbers which are already sold - I intend to go tomorrow to buy numbers - if WTS coming on Thursday may wait till then to get triple number typical chinese numbers loh, numbers that contain either 3, 6, 8 or 9 Added on March 22, 2010, 5:52 pm QUOTE(izputra @ Mar 22 2010, 05:08 PM) Just came back from my branch. Me also got the chassis no & confirmed the color (Metal Bronze) already thanks for the update bro Izputra, seems to tie in with all the stories we have today At the branch, i managed to see the Approved For Registration List for the 2.0 (not a complete list though), & good news to late 2.0 bookers, i noticed that people who booked the car until this month (the partial Approved List shows latest booking up to 5 March 2010) will get their car on this batch. Lucky them coz dont have to wait so long for the car I guess, the sleepless night for 2.0 bookers will count starting from tonight This post has been edited by Blinque: Mar 22 2010, 05:52 PM |

next step is register the car, my full payment has already been made 2 weeks ago, loan approve, and number plate also buy already. hopefully everything go smoothly, if nothing go wrong should be able to collect car on Friday the keyword here is "should"....things tend to go wrong with Naza all the time |
