My rant:

1. Bought a LCD TV on 18th Feb from Senheng and promised will deliver the next day.
2. Next day, they called me said the stock 'kena hujan' and cannot be delivered. Ok, fine. Then they told me that they will call me again next week and will be delivered.
3. One week passed, no call from them. Then I call the sales guy. Said still no stock bcoz the distribution center got some problem. Need to wait till next week only can get. Ok, I'm still fine with it. (By this time I have a feeling that he totally forgot about my TV already)
4. Another week passed, and still no call from them. I called the office and some girl pick up the phone. Told her my problem, and she said the will check and call me back again. But no call from her. I call back, but the phone keep engaged. Called the sales guy directly. He still said NO STOCK. WTF? He told me to give him another chance and wait for ANOTHER WEEK. I already fed up by that time, and told him that I want to cancel my order. Then he told me that it will take 2 weeks to cancel the order.
5. After one week (today), i called the "HQ" to check the status. Told them my details and promised to call me back. But NO CALL at all. WTF?

Probably have to call them again vmad.gif

Anyone that face any problem buying from senheng before?

This remind me one case that happen on me on 2008

My sister bought a 32inch lcd, well on the box its stated that S-Video cable is included in the box.Somehow the cable is missing, I call immediately Seng Heng and they said that they never open the box..That was a new stock. So after a lil bit arguing..they agree to verify with supplier

2 days later, they called.said that one of the staff actually "ACCIDENTLY" take the s-video cable and havent put it back. Later that day I go back and take the s-video cable..

Most of the time I find the SA are noobies. Worse they are not well train in handling customer and not familiar with the products they are selling. They just want to close the sales even though there is no stock, other than display model.
Harvey Norman SA are better.

IMHO sengheng only sells product. any problem, misstock or what so ever they dont care that much. got issues with them last year.bought n verity that aircond unit still got stock. next day installed. two weeks later no cold anymore. called up, installer not coming in. fxcked up several times to sengheng shop n 1 time to sengheng hq.called panasonic, later in eve coming in check and show gas pressure low, show where leaked out (due to lousy installation). immediately called up again sengheng shop, got their boss number. tomorrow installer came in n reapair..after several days. later after 2 (or 3) month, again not cold. directly called up installer...still not came in until today. that is in july 2009.

yet still, they got got price-for-value (compared with several shop n supermarket nearby).

that reminds me of BHB in Penang.
Bought a LG washing machine, front loading, over 4k. Promised to send to my home in 2 days time, and they did.
But upon opening up the box, found out the washing machine is scratched and the label was blackened and dirty. I asked the delivery guy whether this is the display unit, he just won't answer me.
I called the office, the sales lady insisted it was a brand new unopened unit.
I mentioned about the condition, and she said it's the "tahan powder" LG engineer put in so that the Washing machine can "tahan lama" and as the result, the unit is a bit scratch and dirty. WTF.
I explained to her that it's ok to admit they made a mistake and resend me a new unit but she kept on insisting that 's a new unit and argued kaw kaw with me. I fed up, scolded her, cancelled the order and hung up on her. I then asked the delivery guy to send the unit back.
About 2 hours later, the manager called me, apologize and promised to resend me a brand new unit, but I just don't want already even though he gave me RM500 discount.
Really bad experience...

So far, i have no bad experience with SenQ Penang. 2 LCD TV and a front load washing machine, sent installed just fine.

My latest purchase was a 32" Samsung LCD B460 at around Rm1540. But just yesterday, Sen@ sell the 32B530 for RM16++. Damn..... that is just after 2 weeks.

For me is always make purchases with credit card. If there is anything not satisfaction, can always call credit card/bank to hold the payment until matter resolve.

From there see who is more kan cheong.

Just my 2 cents...

apologize if i hijack this thread..

i would like to ask almost the same question as well..I went to SenQ and there was a special promotion on Samsung LCD 40" TV (LA40B530) model..the original tag price is RM3799 but for PlusOne card holder, I'm receiving RM1000 discount which is the price after the discount is RM2799! and it is very limited to only few units smile.gif

I asked the shop and the TV they said is brand new, not display set as i keep asking the question over and over..

so I would to hear some comments or suggestion for LYN members, though I havent paid it fully yet, I only make a deposit and informed that I will come back later either to claim back my money or made the full payment..

what do you think guys? should i go this LCD tv? I was eyeing on a sony 32" BX400/EX400 (forgot already) but then suddenly i stumbled upon this promotion! rclxub.gif

Very simple lah! Next time you encounter such similar problem, tell whoever you buy from that you will report them to the relevant G department. If you look like a G staff say you in working in the G & or ex-G staff or know someone working in the G. Sure to work one!

So happen I am a ex-G staff (Retiree) & have try it so many times. Tried it even on G department. Works every time.

Thanks

Harvey Norman more expensive then Seng Heng / SenQ?
Over here in Penang, I find Harvey Norman pricing lower in most cases... especially if you pay by cash, the price can still be negotiated...

Go to Megatronik , Pandan Jaya branch, you can ask for LED / LCD TV good prices. They told me before that even the LED goes on 1/2 price. No joke..but if they deny, that means , they only give it to regular customers..

well..i've bought it already, just waiting for them to deliver and place it up for me (they didnt make delivery on sunday sad.gif ), well, in the end the price was added another rm500 tongue.gif

rm200 for the wall mount device together with their workmanship and rm300 for extra coverage warranty with 1 to 1 replacement warranty, well this is my 1st time buying LCD tv, so i wouldnt want to take extra risk if the LCD is broken within 5 years, and i want them to drill it mount wall to me (I'm lazy to drill it up myself anyway) and if the LCD falls down when i place the wall mount myself, i wouldnt need to pay the damages myself blush.gif for me it is worth it anyway..

surveying for other electrical shop is up to your decision, for me, i choose SenQ because i wouldn't need to send the LCD to repair, i would just need to make a call and they will come to my house, anywhere in malaysia if let say i pindah rumah to outside KL for example cool2.gif

hmm... afaik, if your tv still under warranty, the manufacturer will usually send someone to your house to fix it. (got experience with panasonic, where my table fan not working. they send an engineer to my place to fix it. shocking.gif )

You can ask in Home Electronics section under Garage Sales. A lot of cheap LCD and Plasma sellers over there. One notable seller is kevin from Jintex Electronics, Sea Park. I bought my Plasma from him as well as many others from lyn.

1st & 2nd time i buy LCD at Seng Heng there were no problem. Only at the 3rd time they said TV cannot be delivered due to raining problem. So, blame the rain, as they don't have any water-proof vehicle. That delay spoiled my mood to watch new TV shakehead.gif

Rain? That's not a solid excuse..

they can always wrap up covered , secured in a box, and deliver it over..

Add another branch to the list. It's probably more than a coincidence... mad.gif

Several months back, bought a leading Japanese branded Full HD video cam from the SenQ in KL which should be proficient with handling discerning customers, given its close location to a well-known expat condo residential area in KL.

The purchase was made during a promotion period when the brand was offering a free video cam bag, free spare battery & free photo printer to be bundled with the video cam - as published in the brand's glossy promo catalogues.

At the time of purchase, SenQ said that all these free items would be provided with the video cam, as was shown on their printed invoice/receipt.

It took many phone calls & over a month until the branch said the video cam was in stock at the branch for collection.

However, when i got there, the promised free accessories were not available. So, there is no bag provided to keep-safe & carry around the video cam, no spare battery, no photo printer. vmad.gif

After more phone calls, SenQ said all these free accessories should have been included and will be provided...when they are in stock. cry.gif

Been over a month...thinking of contacting the brand HQ directly... icon_question.gif

Harvey Norman SA are better.

That's kinda expensive right? I see front loading ones from Electrolux, Samsung and Panasonic only at RM2k, some less...
Harvey Norman more expensive then Seng Heng / SenQ?
Over here in Penang, I find Harvey Norman pricing lower in most cases... especially if you pay by cash, the price can still be negotiated...
*
Personally find Harvey Norman in Damansara sales service is suck!

This reminds me, 6 years back, i bought a Toshiba Satellite laptop, was RM6k that time. I found 3 dead pixels on the screen when i brought home, took back on the next day for exchange, the manager wasn't willing to change for me (there was a display unit and i didn't mind, because i was running out of time as i would leave the country on the next day for few years). The branch manager replied unfriendly and unpolitely, and not even want to entertain me, they wouldn't do the exchange unless >7 dead pixels were found, WTF! That baxtard asked me to go to Toshiba office in shah alam directly to solve the problem myself!

I actually spotted those 3 dead pixels on the spot, but then was lacked of experience (thought due to the lighting environment) and didn't check properly. I believed the sales person also saw them, just kept his mouth shut.

to be fair, My experience is good with Sen Heng. I think its the people you deal with.. i bought my TV from the kajang branch. Dealt with the boss. He was very friendly and service was top notch.

To be honest I didn't have a good impression on sen heng before this. But this new experience made me trust them. Deal with the boss, not the SA, they never give good service.

Personally I have good relationship with SenHeng too. Most of my recent purchase of electronic equipment, such as air-con, TV, washing machine are all purchased from SenHeng or SenQ. My latest purchase of refrigerator was physically replaced 3 times within 2 weeks time without any problem.

If you say that you do not have a problem, may i know why then you had to " physically replaced 3 times within 2 weeks " just to understand better.

for me, i think those Normal price item, you will not see any problem. Those that face problem are those very attractive prices items as I have encountered.

I bought a Samsung 50" C450 from Senheng Tmn Connaught (RM 3400 with plus one) on 1st May (Saturday), the person incharge told me tht I'll be geeting my TV on the following Tuesday - Thursday. waited patiently for the TV to arrive but was later informed by the person in charge that they have yet to receive their stocks from Samsung... I eventually cancell the order on the 10th as I dont feel like waiting further as they cant tell me exactly when I'll be getting it. To cancel and to get my refund, it took them about a month. (the refund was deposit back to my account only on 11th June).

For the refrigerator, it is new but appear to have some dirt (later found out they are some sort of glue) on the small hole near the door. Since I'm not home most of the time, so my wife complaint to them upon delivery and request to have it replaced as it appears used/display set. So it was replaced 3 times and each time has the similar sign and we make sure they are different unit as we mark down the serial number as well, just to be caution.

And finally we are convinced those are just glue as the wrapping and box are unopened and the serial number are different.

I felt sorry for the delivery men as the refrigerator needs two ppl to carry and the same delivery men were helping my wife for 3 rounds... And they even asked if we were ok with the 3rd unit else they would just brought it back for exchange even though they confirmed those refrigerator were physically took out from warehouse Melaka that morning but just for the sake of satisfying my wife... And what I respected the delivery men most was they were sincere when asking if we were sure, and didn't have slightly unhappy nor unpatient even thought it was already 7:30pm...

The last time i remember i went to sen heng to check out LCD tv's, the prices they display were pricy and expensive and the price was the retail price, i mean i thought branch such as this should be cheaper at least? Then when i wanted to check out a TV, the sales person ask me whether i was a member, if i was, i could get a cheaper price, but i need to register for it. I was like WTF? The price i saw at Onking and HLK much so much cheaper even i bought it a member price, so yea say no Sen Heng

Maybe Seng Heng in smaller towns are better. The one in my hometown is very efficient. Friendly and they know their stuff. If they don't, they find out. And they don't make false promises.

And shouting and misbehaving doesn't get you anything. Making a scene is never encouraged.

I suggest you go to Legend, no fake points but at least cheaper price than SenHeng.

Should go to those SH franchiser, the owner who run it like McD, the boss is more approachable.

I got good relationship with the 2 shop at my place (same owner/boss), usually to deal direct with him rather than the staff, so far so good.

Bought a Sharp LCD for my mom in home town (pay here & get hometown SH to sent & set up), it "kong" after near 2 years but got replace easily when i present the PO to the boss in KL & the hometown Sharp rep dispatch technicial to repair(replace the broken panel within 3 days) got extended warranty due to the PLUS One RHB CC.

Do admit some SH/SenQ store are suzk especially those in shopping mall, price hardly can nego service oso bad.

Never like them, price high, use dodgy 'member price tactic' that is actually more expensive than elsewhere (non-member price no need to say...sky high)....and non-existent after sales service.

Added on July 13, 2010, 6:42 pm rolleyes.gif & if i aint mistaken , we hv to pay for repair even if our sets are under their plus 1 warranty..My cousin kena alrdy, frm Malacca..The receipt obviously stated it's 2 years as SH free 1 yr warranty for member, but SH charged my cousin RM18xx for his Samsung LCD repair on the 2nd yr(manufacture probs, definitely covered if it's manufacturer warranty!).. Call samsung careline, they asked my cousin to sought it out with SH, none of their business! The person in charge in SH said my cousin MIGHT HV misunderstood the terms of "free 1yr warranty" when he purchased the item!..(most ppl know SH gives additional yr of warranty/insurance to their members fer god sake!) vmad.gif & to think my cousin chose SH over other cheaper shops at the beginning bcuz they offered additional free i yr warranty/insurance.. Mana tau kena tipu pulak ,if set tak rosak , we sure tak tau their tactic..!!
careful boys!! Spread the words~! mad.gif

Me myself bought a cellphone frm SH, but no hanky-panky though..Maybe cellphones are too common..nth much to lie also larr...hehehe.. laugh.gif

my cousin told me that until today , they're still saying the same 'free warranty' thing (maybe in malacca only looo).. perhaps their staff also dunno what the exact different of manufacturer warranty & their own SH free warranty ?? or perhaps they 'act silly' ?? rclxub.gif I myself bought a cellphone frm SH Johor, told me bout the free warranty for members too(for LCD)..but i didnt buy plan to buy LCD frm them, so didnt care so much.. whistling.gif
hahaha!

By the way,any big bros out there are SH members? need help on warranty issue here! at least i could giv a lil advice to my cousin, poor him~.. moneyflies.gif

Bro, they have to pay employees salary, renting big space and so forth... we got to understand their business size sometimes. Not only SenHeng,... spotted...harvey norman Sunway Pyramid staffs also like that - play around in groups! when customers are right in front of them.

IMHO, it's better since I can do my own browsing without them bugging me here and there. Even if you ask them technical questions, it seems like we are more knowledgeable than them. Not many into consultative selling...

i guess it really takes time for ppl to REALLY know.. I learned bout their highly-priced/marked-up/member's price prob since yr 2004 frm SH..but till now stil got lots of victims.. Well, this is business i guess.. IMHO, there arent any cheapest shops, there are only the smartest consumer .. So, best is go around b4 purchasing loOoo..better be safe than sorry..

i do agree that S**Q or S*N H**G price always higher than others shop. staff friendliness, services & product info not so good, but it depends on the staff itself. some staff reallly helpful & friendly while others may just keep ignoring u (if u dress like ordinary no money people it will be worst tongue.gif haha they just ignore you)....

for the price wise we need to always check their promotion.last time i face d same issue, feel don't want ever buy anything from them since the prices & services are not so good.but something happen i do drop by to 1 of the northern S**Q outlet and was approached by 1 of their staff and wow!! so surprise this staff so friendly and very informative on the product i've ask for....and the best part is the offer price really so great, even the price tag show different & really cheaper than any other place but it's a limited time offer... rclxms.gif

so no regret for me since d price offer was good...received the package last week and still enjoyed it.but i'll keep monitor their after sales services should anything happen to the unit.... hmm.gif

Different places different cultures, perhaps.. & different ppl different manners.. But different branches different system?? hMmMm.. hmm.gif weird~
Anyway, i'm more concern 'bout the warranty.. I believe staff issues happens at most places..

And to TS, my cousin tried calling their HQ after I told him ur case.. Hopefully can settle. Thanks,TS.

My rant:

While I was looking at a Toshiba model it was showing scenery video with very nice moutain and river views, while i was enjoying the scenery video it suddenly change to a Japanese sexy female singing show.
I quicky move to other brand LCD TV (Samsung) this one was showing some nice art graphics show it is nice also and while i was enjoying the art graphics show it suddenly change to the Japanese sexy female singing show again.
What The Heck!
Do i look like a Ham Sac Lou who buy LCD TV because want to use it to watch Japanese sexy female singing show?

Finally i walk out without buying anything. laugh.gif

Share 1 fugly experience with SengHeng Jln Klang Kama. Bought my 1st Canon digicam at SenHeng Pandan Perdana. Got all the extended warranty & bla bla bla. After 1 year ( I used the blardy digicam less than 10 times!) The screen got red vertical lines.. so I send to SenHeng Jln. Klang Lama. One of the SC layan me, he said got everything covered, but got to wait for 1 week. 1 week become 1 month. I went there bising bising, had an argument (both pary exchanging four letter words! Imagine?!) Manager came out settled and said they will fired the rude SC. After few days went to the freakin shop to collect my digicam, glad that the SC no more working there, they send a pretty gal to layan me. Checked everything function ok, so I sign some papers. Took my digicam back and used it during my trip, but the cam failed me.. with 1 extra problem, it auto shutdown and gets really hot. So I send my digicam to Canon Service Centre (saujana subang) The technician told me my cam nvr serviced / repair there before, no records found. WTF?! Then the SC in Canon told me, 1st year warranty genuine from Canon. 2nd yr onwards, SenHeng techicians will handle. So all this while the SenHeng SC bullshut me.. and to add salt to my deadly wounds.. the SengHeng ppl killed my cam, messed up the circuit attached to my LCD and when I switch on it burned my cam. I so lazy to complain cuz it really take alot of my time and money. I still keep the faulty digicam with me because it really bring back alot of good memories to me, but for sure I will not buy anything from them anymore.

Top-up is a good strategy for them. After minus a top-up price, we still have to pay at least 95% from original price.

For me. I think warranty is more important. Example when you purchase from common electical shop. All the things basically come with 1 year warranty. Additional warranty need to pay 7%-8% of the purchase price for 1 year extra. Tht is alot $ if you buy Home Theatre/Led TV/Plasma. ( rm300++ above). SenQ is offering free extra one year warranty. This is fine for me.

We all know warranty is important fren, which is why those who share their experiences here bought from SH bucz SH FREE 1yr warranty. BUT,what we were trying to let ppl know is, whenever our AV products got problems during FREE warranty period, SH turn their heads away & we were asked to pay for service repair charges.(not all SH maybe). & if i m not mistaken, those EXTRA warranty that we need to pay to get additional yrs of warranty, is ACTUALLY BETTER.Why?bcuz we pay little in advance, if one day our LCD rosak kao kao, we dont hv to pay thousands! icon_rolleyes.gif those warranty that we PAY got policy documents i think. hmm.gif

Juz sharing ppl~ my cousin's case that i mentioned earlier ; he paid RM1780 after discount to repair his LCD panel bought from SQ/SH,under FREE warranty yr(2nd yr)! mad.gif He cant listen to SH/SQ bullsh*ts anymore since the LCD rosak few mths alrdy, called many party pun tak guna !We all know he can top up buy new set with that price, but my cousin said he alrdy spent 6K plus when he 1st bought the LCD, takkan buang aje!
If my cousin buang his faulty LCD, i might consider repair it for myself.. whistling.gif haha!

Haa.. We all here are sharing opinion and experience here. Good to hear your sharing.
Last time I heard from Sunway electrical SA . LCD tv warranty is not cover every hardware part. Thts why your cousin have to pay that much $ to repair... Now could be better coz of competative getting strong. Mostly LCD are cover all nowadays... Correct me if im wrong.

If i aint mistaken, ori warranty from manufacturer covers everything in 1st yr , including most expensive hardware-lcd panel, unless faulty caused by accidents/lightning & stuffs then tak ade cover..Ori warranty terms & conditions are all written on the warranty card, easier to justify if our items got problem no matter whom we buy our products from.. icon_rolleyes.gif
My cousin had to pay so much bcuz juz like most ppl, he was conned tht FREE warranty from retailer was the SAME with ori warranty..Till the day his LCD mampus ( not caused by accidents/lightning ), the man told him tht their FREE warranty covers ONLY FREE workmanships ( approx.RM100 ) & FREE transport charge (approx.RM50)..*wat the hell~* doh.gif

Now, the BIG Q.. Is this really how the FREE warranty from SH works?? Any experienced forumers here would like to share?

Senheng, Harvey Norman and other chain stores are all expensive.
But you will notice some trend, Harvey Norman is going for high class, so they don sell cheap stuff, cheapest digital audio coaxial is 138, WTF.
But at least they have better customer service.

Sen Hing and many other china man chain store only try to sell cheap stuff with expensive price to outstation people. KL or selangor people shop a lot and knows all prices, so they cannot cheat them.

But if I were from ulu ulu area, they will try to sell RM300 hdmi cable to uncle , auntie there.

Yeah, Harvey Norman customer service is good. If you get the right people, don't bother dealing with the people at their stores. Need those in HQ to get the job done fast.

My rant:

That's why products with extended warranty from the original company is recommended. Like Panasonic, you can buy it from any store but the extended warranty is registered on the Panasonic website. Meaning no matter what, Panasonic will handle it. That includes transportation of the products and whatever else.

I never trust warranty from the stores itself, it's dangerous unless you know and trust the owner.

Good day,

Do agree on that, i've been to many SH's around KL. Some SM are friendly and very knowledgeable and some are just manual readers..
Was surveying Monster HDMI cable for a contact..at Pandan Jaya..One of the sm's explanation convinced me but ended up nt buying, too costly..

well, the staff still recieve their salary at the end of the month....
below my experience with some "don't know what thing.." staff:
one day i went to an electronic shop in Jalan Pasar.
I went in the shop ask the staff for a multimeter that has temperature measurement function.
To my suprise they simply answer "no, we don't have".
I than have a detail/carefull look of all the multimeter that on the display shelf.
I saw one has temperature measurement function printed on the box.
I said to them "this one has temperature measurement function."
They answer, "the printing on the box showing it has temperature measurement function, but the actual multimeter inside the box is different, it does not has temperature measurement function."
I ask them to take out the multimeter from the box to let me have a look.
They seem like unhappy and take the multimeter out from the box and let me look.
To my expectation, that multimeter does has temperature measurement function.
I said to them while pointing my finger to the temperature measurement function on the multimeter : "see, this is the temperature measurement function. why? don't want to do business with me?". They just keep quiet.

But those staff with attitude prob like mentioned by bro tanhks ;i.e;lazy+stubborn+lagak pandai..etc , totally make me totally wanna kick their as* & ask them go tidur at the store lagi baik (salary tetap ade if sleep in store mar~).. mad.gif

All this time i read LYN but never register to post... But now i want to say sumthin!

i agree dat Seng Heng staff may b lack of skill or knowlege, bt i think evry1 start from sumwhere... if the staff make mistake, we cn just tell them...

Seng Heng has over 100 outlet (i think is 100, i heard their radio ad b4..) so may b staff training will not b as gud as Harvey norman which have less branch...

last week i went to best Denki at klcc with my gf, staff oso never layan me! at least when i went seng heng shop, the staff come to layan me..

All this time i read LYN but never register to post... But now i want to say sumthin!

i agree dat Seng Heng staff may b lack of skill or knowlege, bt i think evry1 start from sumwhere... if the staff make mistake, we cn just tell them...

Seng Heng has over 100 outlet (i think is 100, i heard their radio ad b4..) so may b staff training will not b as gud as Harvey norman which have less branch...

last week i went to best Denki at klcc with my gf, staff oso never layan me! at least when i went seng heng shop, the staff come to layan me..

i notice a lot ppl cmplain on Seng Heng fb (doraemon yi post link above...) the admin seem quite friendly.. but i nvr complain b4 so i dun no how fast they response...

Luckily I never met salesman with that kind of attitude in Senheng/SenQ over here. In fact, they are all very friendly except that they might not very clear on some of the equipments spec. I can understand that it's not quite possible for them to know everything inside out. So everytime before I go shopping, I will do my research and study first. Then baru go over to touch the item, if they have it in store.

Cheers! smile.gif

China-man style ma... I dun go 1. I'd rather pay a bit more to smaller shops. At least, smaller shops keep their promise.

I have a friend bought from other big retailers (not to mention the names). They also delay the air-cond and TV warranty. Their management culture issue.

sengheng/senQ?
good ma..no good meh?At least come with additional 1 year warranty.

i last time take my phone go repair, 3 months + tak balik balik....
the manager keep on delay my phone ...till i ask the kerani, where the fucuk is your customer center contact number?i wan to complain. She gave me a Plus One brochure, show me the number behind it, and ask me complain.(which she thought i play play)

I called up the number, within 3 days the phone very gooding come back to my hand. And the manager dont even dare to talk to me.

so, if anything u all no happy with them, just call up the call center, they have very good customer support.(*They even call u back yo! unlike the damn manager who never called me back as promised in those 3 months)

It was totally different experience for me. I was complaining to Seng Heng about my recent purchased LED TV due to excessive clouding issue and I was asking for a replacement since the unit is just a week old. It took them 2 days to replace my TV and the salesman was so kind as he personally came to my house with the replacement unit. It was 11PM that time and he willing to travel all the way from Kota Damansara to Klang and I was so impressed.

Well, not everyone in Seng Heng is bad and there are few of them who still giving a good service for his customers.

Cheers!

Just to share my experience, guess not all SenHeng/SenQ services and prices are bad, I bought an 40'' LED TV recetly from SenQ in Plaza Sri Hartamas and the price they offered me was fantastic! and with some extra gifts too. A techician helped me to check the Tv set before I COD and it was done with great care and patience. I'm happy with the purchase, and like some of the forumers said here, SenQ/SenHeng give extra 1 year warranty, which is again good for the consumer.

Just curious, I purchase a TV from SengQ and on the day of the delivery, I waited and waited. Called the branch and they told me system down, cannot deliver as promised. Promised another day. Wasted my time waiting, never bothered to call to inform, if I dont call then wait until the next day also no TV come.
In this case, what can I do? Cannot cancel as already pay or else they dont deliver. Can complain to their customer service as wasted my time waiting. No call them wont even know what happened. They never bother to update their customer...

from my experience, if the salesman promises you that the stock will be delivered by 2-3 days, he actually means get ready to wait for 2-3 months. they are only after the commission and not your time, they wont bother.

Here is my tips for complaining to Senheng:

I suggest anyone has problem with Senheng / senQ to contact their HQ customer service department. I think Senheng / senQ growth rapidly and it is hard for them to control staffs quality and maybe the staffs do not get proper training. The HQ take complaints seriously and they solve customers problem. I remember the boss once advertise on newspaper about his personal phone number for those has problem, can call him directly.

Go checkout the website: http://www.senheng.com.my/ for the HQ phone number.

Have fun complaining!

Senheng Ipoh.
The price of my TV is okay. Below retail price+1year ext warranty. (for that damn plusone membership)
Well, the SA attitude is not that bad when I buying at the shop that time. Explained everything in detail to me... but I never thought the the after sales service can be this bad!
For air-cond, i prefer to buy it from those air-con shop. Better workmanship than shop like senheng, hypermarket, etc...

I too have bought quite a few stuffs from Senheng ipoh. But mine is the one in Sttion 18.

I have had no problems whatsoever and in fact very happy with the honesty and service provided.
This cannot be said of other Senheng in Ipoh (have tried Ipoh Gdn and First Gdn, service lousy).
I guess it really boils down to the people handling your case.

Why don't you give Senheng Station 18 a try (Look for the Manager- Ms.Chan or Albee) they are helpful and honest.

I'm also having a bad exp with them last week. Saw a washing machine and plan to buy it, but there is no price tag, the sales guy just simply said an amount RM1278 like very hard to recall the price. We ask him to go check properly, he come back said RM1128. And then i told him i just saw the same model at Harvey Norman only RM999. He go check again and come back say RM1000. So I plan to buy it and they ask me to sign up PlusOne card for RM12 in order to enjoy free delivery which cost RM10 for non-member. After made the payment and go back home surf "senheng online store". Same product same model cost only RM949 and furthermore with free delivery. I like wtf...Seems like online store can get cheaper deal i guess.

actually senheng is a brand, & human is working under this branded retail store, & usually ppl with bad attitude & dishonest will destroy the reputation of the shop name, like any other brands as well...

if u hire good ppl, your shop reputation will expose in a good way, but when u hire bad attitude ppl, then da the shop is ready to close down anytime...

I am also experiencing a bad services from senheng. I bought an Faber air pot 3.5L from senheng online but they delivered me a same code air pot but with 2.5L only. I thought I made an mistake so I check through their site and the air pot picture and info again. WTF, it really display 3.5L. I keep on calling their customer service but It said the line is busy and cant reach them for the whole day.
Before that I did a few complained for their late delivery already, now the unmatched stock is send to my home.... really mad with them!!! I will never ever purchase their products online again!!!
I've been sending complain email for them, if there's no respond from them then I might make a complain to consumer affair.

My rant:

Nope, it still worse as before. Plus with many lies and blaming others about their incompetence.
2014, bought a washing machine from Senheng Online, takes 1month++ to deliver to my house.
2016, bought an Air cond from Senheng Online after thinking it may have improve over time and the help line informed of available ready stock but I had wait for a month and still no delivery, the service is lousy as before, no notification of delivery or any info regarding the things you buy and the help line is almost useless.
nearly a month of waiting and no clear delivery date, cancel the order, been informed that the refund process takes about 7-14 days. waiting almost 3 weeks and nothing. when asked the staff said had refund to my CC a week before, when asked for proof of transaction it is not available and they doesnt even know the bank that they refund to. Kept asking me to wait for another 7-14 days for the transaction to clear.
So as a reminder to others, best to AVOID SENHENG ONLINE at all cost.
