apologize if i hijack this thread..

i would like to ask almost the same question as well..I went to SenQ and there was a special promotion on Samsung LCD 40" TV (LA40B530) model..the original tag price is RM3799 but for PlusOne card holder, I'm receiving RM1000 discount which is the price after the discount is RM2799! and it is very limited to only few units smile.gif

I asked the shop and the TV they said is brand new, not display set as i keep asking the question over and over..

so I would to hear some comments or suggestion for LYN members, though I havent paid it fully yet, I only make a deposit and informed that I will come back later either to claim back my money or made the full payment..

what do you think guys? should i go this LCD tv? I was eyeing on a sony 32" BX400/EX400 (forgot already) but then suddenly i stumbled upon this promotion! rclxub.gif

Probably i suggest you dont..Jusco seems to have Panasonic Plasma promotion..a buyer i met last nite told me he bought Panasonic Plasma 42' for 2.2k with discounted around RM600..i think Plasma promotion worth looking at..i think its Jusco Maluri, probably check at any nearest Jusco..

Just a suggestion..

thanks for your suggestion, is it Full HD? as i made my survey..cheap plasmas arent full HD, and I'm going to use the TV for gaming anyway, not for astro...lots of suggestion to use LCD instead of plasma for playing games sad.gif

though i have went to a few shops around my area and most of the time they have a very limited display unit, so i cant really experience it before buying it sad.gif i almost bought a sony 32" with the price of rm 2.3k, while i just need to add a few hundred more to get a 40" with reasonable price..well, thats what i think of..i am getting 0% interest payment, with extra warranty + thinking of getting another extra coverage for 2 years, where if my LCD is broken, i can change with another LCD with the price that i bought..

Over here in Penang, I find Harvey Norman pricing lower in most cases... especially if you pay by cash, the price can still be negotiated...

i see, well currently Harvey Norman just doing display set clearance and in my cases, the staffs was not helpful to me ( well this i guess depends on luck anyway right ), even shipping charges i need to pay extra..wall mounting package is twice the price of senheng! HV will charge me rm500 while SenQ only gonna charge me rm200 blink.gif though, i use card anyway blush.gif

bro whats ure decision? i too have a rm2xxxk budget..hehe
*
well..i've bought it already, just waiting for them to deliver and place it up for me (they didnt make delivery on sunday sad.gif ), well, in the end the price was added another rm500 tongue.gif

rm200 for the wall mount device together with their workmanship and rm300 for extra coverage warranty with 1 to 1 replacement warranty, well this is my 1st time buying LCD tv, so i wouldnt want to take extra risk if the LCD is broken within 5 years, and i want them to drill it mount wall to me (I'm lazy to drill it up myself anyway) and if the LCD falls down when i place the wall mount myself, i wouldnt need to pay the damages myself blush.gif for me it is worth it anyway..

surveying for other electrical shop is up to your decision, for me, i choose SenQ because i wouldn't need to send the LCD to repair, i would just need to make a call and they will come to my house, anywhere in malaysia if let say i pindah rumah to outside KL for example cool2.gif
