d last round my batt stand for 1 day and 6 hours. las nite i charged it full and unplug at 1.30am. till now it's still 100%.
im wondering whether desire facing the same problem too..

Normally gotta charge it everynight. I installed this app called JuiceDefender and seems to be helping me. Normally by night time my battery will be around 20%. But after I installed this, by night my battery is approx > 60%. It all depends on your browsing and call habits though. Unfortunately it causes problem to some apps that need to be connected all the time like MSN.

Anyway, if anyone gets a legend, be prepared to charge it every night. Pretty disappointed with the battery life when I first got mine.

one thing i just realized: if i turn on Mobile Network, wait for the H/E sign to appear in the status bar and then turn on Wi-Fi, I realized that the mobile network H/E sign will be off (even though i didnt turn off mobile network) and only remaining Wifi signal. If i turn off Wi-Fi signal, the mobile network H/E sign will appear again automatically.

please try this and see whether u get the same symptom.

If you have a valid wifi connection, it will connect to the wifi first and disconnect the mobile data connection. Sounds right and good for people who don't have an unlimited data plan

Hey guys, read this! Is this a new update? I tried checking my system software update but it says my phone is already up to date. So...try checking it out. And tell me do you get the update.

I thought this is 2.2 update.... it's long time ago being thr... just a minor upgrade. 3mb++ fixed email issue.. overall you wont see the different..

y is my friendstream won't update itself..it says "no recent updates"..(i have added my facebook)..
the first day i bought the legend its working, but the next day it just stucks like that, n won't update T_T

add me in the owner list! HTC Legend digi RM999...

My Legend battery life is consider very good!
1 whole day use, plus few calls, plus some games especially Robo Defense, it will drop about 30%
Even my Wifi is always set to On. Couple of memory resident programs like ChangeVolume, ReminderService.

So, I have never complaint about battery life.

How long to charge the battery to full

hey weirdly i found the solution to this problem of mine before. i turn on Flight Mode, wait for a while.. and turn it off. No more icon 'E'. It solves the problem!

battery usage has improved since then.

I not sure if this is my phone problem only or what .. its about the alarm.

okay, says like its 700am now, you guys set the alarm to ring at 730am, then you will see the alarm icon on top left, now, shut down the phone, and on back, wait till 730am, see if your phone alarm ring?

mine doesn't work anyway ... :/

so far i didnt have any problem with my legend..

i m always using USB to charge and it takes maybe 4 hours to fully charge
i din really time the charging. i normally take off the cable before i go to sleep.
before sleep i cant help it but play a few rounds of Robo Defense

as i write now, my battery level is at 60% (Wifi 26%, Cell Standby 21%, Display 24%, Phone idle 16%, Voice calls 13%
i fully charged & disconnect the usb 2nites back at around 11pm
so, i've never ever worried bout battery life

i do, however, disable my data connection all times.

Mine works after I shutdown. But maybe its because I set it based on days. How do you configure your alarm? One time or daily thing?

erm, mine takes less den 2 hours.

mine does ring...so far never encountered any problem with alarm doesn ring
i tested by setting alarm at 1:30pm (to ring at 2pm), off/on phone and it did ring at 2pm

any one use any GPS software? I tried papago, it's good, but u have to manually click the road to find the road name.. and it's not really updated the map... I try google map. it's worj perfectly, but it need data plan.. any one have other GPS software recommend? or find other way to use google map offline version? thanks.

Are you guys by any chance using an automated task killer? If you are then you are suppose to whitelist the "clock" application.
