And yup, i am also under the impression that toslink cant carry DTS MA and TrueHD, thats y am using HDMI for PS3, WDTV and Xbox360.... but mayb i am outdated with my info... But still nice to have bitstream as an option rather than PCM as i find PS3's decoding is a little too agressive.... switch between PCM and Bitstream in the same scene and you will notice the diff.... For those who are new into HD, neither coaxial nor optical is able to send HD signal for avr to decode. You NEED HDMI cable in order to get HD audio.
