guys today dont know what happened with my iphone suddenly whenever i type msg there is a box call " could not activate cellular data network " keep popping out so annoying ler

it happened to me when i can access safari, try to reboot few times or unplug your sim card and insert again

Hi there. i having a official unlocked iphone that is MY set.. the problem currently is i can't detect the sim card.. even i put in itunes how many time also can't detect it..

Step taken:
- Restart comp already after that pull in sim card still cannot
- Change sim card between digi, hotlink, celcom still no effect on detect sim card
- Reset Network Setting in the iphone 3 time already after that still cannot detect
- Try On Other Comp also cannot.. download itunes and try it out still fail

solution that taken:
- Try to download blacksnow that work within 1 minute to detect digi sim card with full bar

But main problem is why like this?? it should be like this right? i mean for official unlocked set u just pull in sim card then can detect right?
any solution for it? can send for warranty? probably cannot right since all is function..

- What does iTunes have to do with your SIM card?

have you try putting another sim card? if its ok means that ur u have to change ur sim card. ive also once encounter this problem where it cannot detact my maxis sim card, but can detect other sim card. try swipe sim card 1st then if no network also, its better to make use of ur warranty card...

Ooo.. no more pity. I managed to bring it back onto 3.1.2. Seems like my office network block the connection to Saurik's server. I've jailbreak it again with blackra1n and it work like charm now.

I'd guess I will refrain from updating 3.1.3 for now.

[4] Check the box "Start time" and specify the start time of your intended ringtone
[5] Check the box "End time" and specify the end time of your intended ringtone
[6] Click OK
You'll have your ringtone but you can't use it yet because it's not in iPhone ringtone format
[7] Right-click on the edited ringtone, click "Show in Windows Explorer"
Your ringtone will be in .m4a format
[8] Change the extension by renaming it to .m4r
[9] Add it to your iTunes library
You may find the ringtone in "Ringtone" library instead of "Music"

i put many different type of sim card that maxis and digi at the end still no service at all.. now one more thing very funny.. i thought my sim card spoil ma.. then i go download blacksnow within 2 minute fully detect the sim card with full bar.. As titled , few days ago I noticed that my earphone keeps on coming loose and I have to replug it into the iPhone earphone jack . I've tried 2 earphones and both are the same . I can still listen to songs but it's really loose which means I can take the earphone out without any force at all . I can also spin it around whilst the earphone is in the jack . I tried it by putting it into my pocket , It will come loose and the song will stop . It only started few days ago , before this , Everything was working fine.

I think it's my fault in making it like that as I plug in and out everyday while going to the school / going back from the school . But I also don't think that it is as fragile ? I've filed a report with 3(My provider) and they said that they have already filed it and needs me to bring it to a nearest 3 store .

While waiting , I wonder what LYN's would say regarding to this ?

I faced this before n I had a very bad experience regarding this. Mine is ipod touch 1st gen, and the condition ain't so obvious like urs, my case is when I plugged in the earphone, sometimes there's no sound coming out from one side of the earphone, you hv to twist the jack a little bit then only the sound will come back. Worst thing is, when I sent it to MacStudio in LYN, when they tested it, the player suddenly works fine, so they "some how" suspected me trying to make up and issue and to get a replacement, and don't even think about letting them testing with ur expensive earphones, they dropped my Senn IE8 and Klipsch Image X10 as if they are Rm10 cheap earphones.... Anyway, I insisted them having it checked but few days later, they called me asking me to collect it back and said there's nth wrong with it.... Sad, in the end I sold off the iPod touch coz I can't stand it anymore and since they said there's nth "wrong" with it Just my little grudge against them xD

Hello guys. Super duper iphone noobie here. I bought a 3GS iphone from a fellow LYN recently and was told that its an AT&T locked iphone from US. It has been JB and running on 3.1.2. The seller also told me that his friend who took it home from Malaysia told him that its still under warranty and if anything goes wrong, can send it to any Authorised Mac shop in Malaysia and they will fix it. Now you can call me silly and I did not check that they do not take any iphone for repair unless its by Maxis ( and now including Digi).

Everything works perfectly a coupe of weeks after that until my trip to London early March. Don't know what went wrong but during my stay there I could not get hold of any wifi signal, even if I'm standing next to it. Came home and tried getting on the internet via 3G but a message came up that says "Cannot Open Page - Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet".

I have tried so many things, shut down, disable EDGE (through SB Setting and from the Setting function-but the "E" keeps appearing once in a while, disable and enable 3G, WiFi etc. Can anyone help me, please?

BTW, I'm on Celcom network.
