According to DiGi CS, there is no request for iPlan..
DiGi CS ask me to re submit form to thier centre..

Currently i'm consider free contract.
Should i go for DG58 data unlimited..any advise.

I am wondering, is it better if I buy iPhone for RM2500 without contract from Maxis.

Then go and take RM58/month 3GB internet with pay whatever you use call/sms rate.

Being tied to contracts of 12/24/36 months, I can actually save back RM500 for 12monnths contract (RM1000 for 24months contract) to pay the additional cost to buy non-contracted iPhone.

So I will not bound to any excessive charges, and I can change to any better plans offered by other telco.  Maximum flexibility rather than tied to the same RATE for 2-3 years.  You never know what the price is the next 6 months or 12 months.

you can get free data 500MB from Maxis for 12 mths if you use prepaid to buy at retail price. RM 2500. my is youthclub, when i calculate for 2 yrs, actually is same with contract, just that i dun have free SMS each mth.

Yes.  RM159 covers both iPhone price and iDiGi 88 price.

If I'm not wrong, the calculation is like this:
RM159 x 24 = RM3,816
which is equivalent to iDiGi 88 for 2 years + iPhone price:
RM88 x 24 x 1.05 (5% tax) + RM1,590 = RM3,807.60

Ok I want to ask something.  The plan page says at the bottom that 0% Easy Payment is available for the 5 banks only.  So if I choose to take the iPhone + 6 months iDiGi plan, can I use other banks' credit cards?  It's not considered EPP.  With the Standard Chartered JustOne card, Fridays give 5% rebate, so that's like RM100 savings there...

if u r nt using epp, thn u can use other credit card for the upfront payment.. (ur cc limit must be enough la)

Bro, u asked and ppl answer, and u still doubt their answer... then u go read the fine prints la... LOLZ

Yes, u r still bonded to a 24 mths contract... this plan is for u to BUY iPhone and pre-pay 6mths iDigi plan.... after that, u still need to pay iDigi plan monthly... the diff here is u dont need to fork out RM4000 up front to pay for all 24 mths plan....

Yes, the 0%PP is better PROVIDED yr CC has RM4000 avail balance...

Yes, on the 25th to 36th month, RM 127 will be charged by your credit card company as part of the installments for 36 months.
RM 138 will be charged by Digi as per normal.

if this is true, then DiGi is really stupid. but they're not, right?
it's only normal and makes sense that the 6-months upfront by cash/cc is tied to a 24-months contract by doing a breakdown of all the plans.
