QUOTE(lilster @ Mar 28 2010, 12:07 AM) don't u all feel insulted? digi only tells "very soon" for the iphone to come. but not even an estimated date for launching. they are keeping u all to wait. manipulating u all. its not like their telco is better than maxis. and yet u all still get manipulated by this digi telco. only this reason is enough for all digi users to jump ship to maxis. they are not respecting us as their customers! is that how u would treat your one and only source of revenue? If DiGi launches the package without sufficient preparation, I'll rather feel insulted. A little wait is nothing.

QUOTE(yvonnesoo @ Mar 31 2010, 10:33 AM) is still the same.. jz slightly cheaper thn epp a lil.. means u have to fork out such a big amt upfront for the iphone plus RM88 (upfront 6 mths). on 7th mth onward.. u only start to pay RM88 per mth until end of 24 mths contract.. unless u opt for epp plan.. so u won't haf to pay upfront tat much.. only monthly payment.. which option u pay.. oso haf to pay the xtra 5% service tax Added on March 31, 2010, 10:41 amyea.. i kno is subscribe to new idigi package.. but i would like to kno whether when i use tis package.. can it allow me to subscribe to supplementary line jz like the DG50 where u can haf option to subscribe up to 6 xtra sub line.. Am getting the 138 plan. The savings are small but it does make its worth if I have the cash for iphone+6 months upfront. Added on March 31, 2010, 10:45 amQUOTE(rayzel @ Mar 31 2010, 10:21 AM) Cheaper?.. i dont see the logic.. Poke poke calculator to compare how much you're paying for the phone. Got slight difference. QUOTE(underworld @ Mar 31 2010, 10:55 AM) why malaysian telcos hav to ask consumers to fork out upfront payment ? tis sux ... You have a choice. If I don't have the cash to pay for upfront by end of this week, I'll just pay by EPP 24 . What to do...

QUOTE(underworld @ Mar 31 2010, 11:04 AM) but if u go EPP 24 u hav to use credit card to swipe the whole amount ,no? I'm not sure but you've reminded me that I don't have CC. Upfront method is the only way I have now it seems. Perhaps I'll just get iphone 3G instead of 3Gs.

RM95 for first 24 months, for iphone+call plan. Then RM95 for remaining 12 months, for iphone. During the remaining 12 months, you need to get your own call plan and pay for it.

The 88 plan talk time is indeed a little miserable for the working people. Why not get 138? Not much of a jump + cheaper iphone after all.

My query to you guys, why RM88 plan if you're going to call a lot? Aren't you supposed to get 138 or 238 plan?
For example, replacing your current approximate equivalent postpaid plan with iDiGi 138 plan can get you an iphone 3G at a much reduced cost of ~RM490. Not a good deal?

QUOTE(aztechx @ Mar 31 2010, 12:39 PM) for my current maxis plan..rm100 is a monthly commitment..meaning to say u have to spend rm80 a month or that money burns.. my question is..for DiGi..is the rm88 a monthly commitment or just a payment to get the free stuffs..other usage will be top up over the 88? Commitment for 200min, 200SMS, 20MMS, internet. You have to pay that amount even if you don't use it. Extra usage is chargeable.

QUOTE(rattan @ Mar 31 2010, 12:41 PM) Usage is not a problem, just that the plan is asking us to pay upfront everything. 2 years advance, iphone price etc. That's how EPP works. You're billing your CC so that you can pay in instalment. Otherwise, pay for 6 months upfront+iphone. The remaining by monthly DiGi bill. No CC involved. Edit: In case you don't notice, EPP is there so that you don't have to fork out an upfront payment by cash. This post has been edited by mengsuan: Mar 31 2010, 12:46 PM

QUOTE(aztechx @ Mar 31 2010, 12:46 PM) WTF!!so it is not as beautiful as i first saw it..i actually thought rm88 is a minimum usage per month and u get all those goodies for FREE! Well, if you don't exceed the quota, you're only paying RM88. Added on March 31, 2010, 12:48 pmQUOTE(ericpires @ Mar 31 2010, 12:46 PM) Better pay the 6mth+ iphone... 2k ... no headaches unless u want to charge full amount 2 years into CC... hahaha crazy... how come not deduct monthly? You charge full amount into CC but it comes in 0% instalment. So you are paying monthly to your bank. Lol.. I personally would opt to pay for 6 months upfront. QUOTE(AntiFuse @ Mar 31 2010, 01:54 PM) so, it will be better to buy an iphone from other source and only pay rm58 for unlimited digi broadband ? of coz the iphone must be cheaper than digi... LOL? Where you find iphone cheaper than digi if you don't subscribe via call plans? Unless you picked up from the streets right?
