Yes, the tethering is working flawlessly now on my iPhone on Digi Unlimited line! thumbup.gif
For a moment before, I actually considered porting to Maxis just for tethering. sweat.gif
But now with Digi supported, it makes no sense to go to Maxis since Digi's package gives unlimited bandwidth (albeit with capped speed if the 3 GB quota is reached) unlike Maxis's 500 MB that charges extra for over-use (comparing similar priced packages for both telcos). vmad.gif

Since I already have a 3GS now and am on Digi Postpaid, should I just subscribe for a 3GS, then sell off the new 3GS whilst gaining the savings from the Postpaid contract? brows.gif laugh.gif

That is true, man. I used to get getting a lot of downtime with my maxis, like need to redial a number just to get through. doh.gif
In the end changed to Digi and never had that problem. biggrin.gif
But Digi's signal inside walls certainly needs upgrading... serious upgrading. lol.

Also, Digi's 3G so far tends to be much more stable than Maxis 3G.

i did some minor calculations. u actually save more with the iDigi plans since the iPhone is heavily discounted. but provided that you utilize the given data fully.

Same here. Since I use tethering a lot, 3GB is just nice for me. and the 138 plan gives about RM 94 worth of calls and sms.

I ordered whitey 16gb. But they will sell you whatever stock they have and not strictly follow ur pre-order, i think.

Maybe you can try to print that email and see. It's suppose to show time and collection date. And you should also receive an SMS asking you to collect.

@ waynerooney. According to them, it is all free. I hope they are right. They mentioned the iDigi plan is just like Digi 50 plan, and can be treated the same.

honestly speaking, don't get the iDigi plan if u don't need the data a lot. some people could just live with Streamyx or whatever broadband they currently have.

Yes. It is the way the world is. With EPP, banks pay for you upfront, then you pay back the bank. Maybe in the future when DiGi becomes a bank, then they won't need credit cards to take EPP. But then they will check your monthly salary, financial standing, etc.

yes, you can use ur iPhone as a 3G modem and surf with your laptop. that's what I'm doing now and my 3GB also seems like not enough because I do download stuff once awhile. biggrin.gif

But if you use iPhone only, 500MB also you will feel hard to finish. laugh.gif

no problem at all.

there is no more cellular data network setting because DiGi is detected as a known carrier by the iPhone in the latest firmware carrier settings. the MMS and APN settings are automatically configured. and there is no way you can turn it off on the iPhone (unless maybe JB?)
