Did you guys notice there are dark spots at the bottom of your N1..near the USB charge port? I did some survey..it seems that it will happen due to wear-and-tear process.

Sucks..just a few weeks and i hate like a few dark spots..like the colours came out from the casing

Another N1 user reporting in.. got mine last 2 weeks from irwan6179..

In summary:
1. 3g issue - After setting up the celcom 3G APN (thanks to Bahathir), I do have a spotty issue even after the updates. After checking couple of forum, got the solution to set the network to WCDMA only and now the 3g connection works fine event inside my house.
2. I have no regret not buying the Iphone
3. Battery - I got no issue charging my phone everyday
4. My Current Application
a. Astro file manager - 5 star
b. Speed Test -
c. Handcent SMS - love it
d. APNdroid - disable the APN
e. MixZing music player- Love the widget
f. Google maps - overall is good but the GPS not that accurate (is this a prob??)
g. SwiFTP - FTP share
h. contact - great with FB sync
i. fring - Voip
j. KL Traffic Cam - currently only from ITIS camera
k. Earthquake - juz wanna to know the earthquake all around the world (cool)

The rest works fine for me.. plus I'm still exploring the phone...

Kl Traffic cam is cool.
Dev by locals not bad but some videos cant load.
Doesnt support rstp protocol. Any solutions?

You can check from the market. and yes its not stable yet

there's a kl traffic app for symbian as well..
if it's from the same developer, it's not a video stream but webcam image of ITIS and dbkl webcam throughout the city.
you have to refresh accordingly.

dark spots? where? i dont see them..i think i have the oldest n1 here but mine doesnt have any spots..do you use the pouch that came with it?

Not actually dark spots..just like colour of the casing becomes grey..like stuffs u take constant rubbing until the paint comes out

woah..seriously? luckily my phone is still blessed. Do you rub that part with any cloth for cleaning purposes or anything?

Tried to clean it away but cqnt. I think a good couple of owners faced the same problem as well

yeh i have that dark spot problem at the lower right portion of my phone. not very noticable. but its there, and has been there since the first day i got it. nothing i can tlive with though.

I have a feeling its caused by the sleeve that comes with the phone . I have it at both corners , I don't think its due to the charger

Latest update guys~! Guess what i just got my N1 from Irwan. Bought this N1 from Irwan after recommendation from shahz and i think it is a good decision. Polite guy and prompt service~! Hey irwan I doubt ill ever b a android guru... its good enuff for me just to help out other android users. After playing around with it for a good few hours, I never regretted switching over from HD. This device really impresses me. Its fast and snappy. The phone does get fairly hot under AC charge. I also can confirm that apndroid doesn't work. Ill give u guys more feedback when I discover more things.
