QUOTE(h11g @ Feb 18 2010, 01:33 AM) Hey irwan I doubt ill ever b a android guru... its good enuff for me just to help out other android users. After playing around with it for a good few hours, I never regretted switching over from HD. This device really impresses me. Its fast and snappy. The phone does get fairly hot under AC charge. I also can confirm that apndroid doesn't work. Ill give u guys more feedback when I discover more things. somehow apndroid works perfectly for me . |

i'm not sure if this is appropriate but there are 2 other site (both has its mobile app just like android market) that allows you to purchase Android Market paid apps.
both seems legal, correct me if i'm wrong. http://slideme.org/ http://andappstore.com/AndroidApplications/apps/!index This post has been edited by xavier7: Feb 18 2010, 10:22 AM |

BTW, not need to rush... Wait some more la... before rooting the N1.
IF, I want to root my N1, I only thinking to change the kernel. and leave others as what there are right now. TQ |

How about loading it with HTC Sense from desire?
http://android.modaco.com/content/google-n...indings-so-far/ Not ready yet for mass consumption but Paul is making a steady progress. |

From my readings at the xda and modaco's sites, I'll stay with Google's official release.

Im very happy with the android as it is now and don't see why I should root it, but like all geeks out there I'm really tempted to root it. Comparing n1 and my HD, there is really no choice but to flash new rom because the improvement is great. So out of the box the n1 is head and shoulders above the hd.

Yes, the main purpose to use Android is the 'hackability'.
BTW, one day, I'll root my N1 also.... |

QUOTE(jaysquare @ Feb 17 2010, 07:21 PM) yeh i have that dark spot problem at the lower right portion of my phone. not very noticable. but its there, and has been there since the first day i got it. nothing i can tlive with though. I got black spot but never notice until read this thread. Can cover with casing.I got my screen protector today. Quite nice, does not seem to affect the sensitivity, my boss keep comparinghis iPhone and my n1 he keep saying he is the best. I still I think n1 the best. I like the camera so much. Clearer than iPhone. |

Zelmel,
Tell him, we have 1GHz and he has 600MHz Tell him, we have 5MPx camera, he has only 3.2 (that too if its 3GS) Tell him, we have multi-tasking and he doesnt even have that in this era Tell him, we have a slimmer phone than his Tell him, we have a larger screen than his Tell him, we have storage upgrade capabilities and he has to stick to what he buys Tell him, we can replace the batteries without sending the unit back Tell him, we have a brighter crisper AMOLED screen than his iPhone Also... Tell him, if he's proud of his iPhone, come one-to-one with N1 first..We already have "ONE" even in our name |
