But sometimes the phone show the mirror side or oppsite of where I press with 2 fingers at the same time is alrite? It only happens when I press 2 fingers at the same time. . . But if I press 1 finger then the 2nd finger then move around with 2 fingers stimutsnously has no issue at all. . . .

If you don't have a problem with pinch and zoom in the browser, maps and gallery, I'd say it was alright. As, after all, you bought your phone to use the features, not to run so-called test programs (which we don't know are accessing the hardware correctly or not to begin with) on it.

If it does affect the browser, maps and gallery ... then you need to consider the effort of pressing one finger a millisecond or so before the other vs the hassle of convincing HTC that it is a defect and also sending it back and getting it replaced under warranty.

Delete those test apps from your phone first and judge it based on how it is meant to be used.

hey guys actually i do facing a problem wif my N1 currently, when i compose new msg it do not link to the contact list, which mean i gonna manually key in the phone number and it cant send out multiple sms. Any idea to solve this prob ?
*
Look at your contacts record ... are their numbers listed as "mobile" or "work" or "home"? The sms msg app will only pick up those contacts that have "mobile" numbers.

Once you've sorted that out, to send the same message to multiple recipients, separate the recipients with a comma in the "To:" field.

Added on February 14, 2010, 12:31 pmBTW: anybody got a copy of fastboot.zip for the nexus? Can pm me or put it up on a site somewhere?

Just decided to unlock my phone, and all the links point to http://www.romraid.com/paul/fastboot.zip, and that link currently redirects to www.modaco.com with no download offering.

8-(

UPDATE: Ignore the above. The fastboot binary for the ADP1 at http://developer.htc.com/adp.html works just fine (I tried the Linux one). Need run "fastboot oem unlock" and while it's "waiting for device", power up your phone with the the trackball pressed.

redzanime : Wait for update2 smile.gif

shahada : You can get fastboot for GNU/Linux from superboot.zip.

But, I compiled my own adb and fastboot from source-code (git repository), and created my own native 64 bit executalbe files,

TQ.

adrive, it was already answered above. You must set as "MOBILE" type for the phone numbers that can send/receive messages. Usually, home phones can't accept SMSes. So, all numbers that are set as "home" or "office" etc in the contacts will not show up as SMS contacts. You can still send them SMS though by going to the contacts and select the contact you want to send SMS.

For those of you who want to try GMaps 4.0 on your Nexus One, this is special for you. Send me a PM with your e-mail address and I will send you the APK installer. If you have Root, please don't waste my time. This is only for those who don't have Root!

I think the APN type must be in lower case. Example: mms

If you are using handcent sms, it is an option in settings - auto convert to mms

Hey guess what. I actually went aheaad n tried covering the bottom part of the phone like the video I posted in this forum few days ago n the 3g did not fluctuate! Weird... must b that guys palm too thick or something.

This is really a cool phone. The bad thingg is the screen seems to have a mind of its own and definitely less accurate than an iPhone. I've used both.

Guys ... anyone has any idea on how to sync Calendar and Contact BlackBerry to the Nexus.

I tried searching but the results not very helpful. There's one software from CompanionLink software which seems offer a solution but would like to ask for a second opinion from the folks here.

Update : Think I have found it in Google Sync. Will try it out.
