Shah, is it recommended to try it? I'm still having connection problem with a customer N1, i'm probably will get back the phone and try some possible troubleshooting. factory reset seems not to solve it. I'm thinking of trying the new unofficial rom.

Well, if you have root, then its definitely worth having..

why only rooted phone is worth to try the new unofficial rom? or do u mean unroot phone cant even update it?

because its unofficial..remember why you need root? root gives you access to EVERYTHING..this is among one of them

it is great app.. ver 4 adds so many things..

You need to unlock the bootloader before you can root it. By unlocking the bootloader, you will VOID the warranty. That's why I stick to stock/unrooted N1 for a while until Google/HTC have some progress.

1) Home -> Menu - Settings -> Applications -> Manage Application.
2) Menu -> Filter -> Select All
3) Find the app, and try the Force Stop.

Added on February 16, 2010, 2:40 pmTeardown : I already saw it just few days after the N1 being launced. It using Samsung AMOLED display. Wonder if I can exchange the N1's with Samsung's Super AMOLED in Samsung Wave (S8500).

By visiting facebook.com..lol..You can't tag from Nexus One la..chill man..its a phone..not a computer yet..its already enough for me that it can upload and manage the images and albums..

I think the specs is petty much similiar. The software part is what differs..i would still get n1

After watching some of the nexus one video..makes me think..why do i bother to get the epik case n screen protector? Good ppl at google n htc spent hours designing this and i just turn it into shit..lol

Well honestly, you will save more buying the Nexus One because it is sold direct from Google. With Htc it passes through more hands and hence the higher price. But dont let me sway your decision, because some ppl are totally sold out to the sense UI(Btw new sense UI have issues, if you check some videos). Me on the other hand love my Nexus, its value and awesome raw computing power.

The case does help preventing my palm from accidentally touching the edge of the touch panel. This minimize the touh register errors during operation with one hand

1. i heard only can install application into ROM but not memory card, and the size available is less than 200MB, will it good enough to install games, software and etc?

2. regarding voice to text function, is it only can use when connect to internet?

3. does GPS function and google map work in M'sia?

1. this is not iphone, so the software is not to much. its enough for install all software, if its not you can still install apps2sd, to make it 500mb space to install apps.
2. yeah, you need to keep connected to make it working.
3. its works.

its fast, but now i can't boot to debian anymore.
adb didn't recognize the device.
