I was with bahathir this evening. I don't even know how to add APN setting. until i met the second customer who pressed the correct (2nd from left) button. We tested the Voice to Text as well. in a noisy environment, it doesn't do a good job. I've tested Mobile Google apps in Iphone in a quiet room, and I think it's quite impressive. I nexus should be perform the same in a quiet room.

I sourced them from US. I haven't tried a lot of features myself. A lot of my units go to customers hand on the day they arrived. Haven't really got the chance to fully explore. Maybe Bahathir/Syahz can help

One of my buyers said current call will be cut off whenever there is incoming call. Anyone having the same problem? Is there any setting that I should advice him to change?

There is a new 2.1 ROM leaked at xda dev forum... seems to improve 3G reception and some updates for stock apps.

Shah, is it recommended to try it? I'm still having connection problem with a customer N1, i'm probably will get back the phone and try some possible troubleshooting. factory reset seems not to solve it. I'm thinking of trying the new unofficial rom.

hi guys, I'm getting a prominent radio station to do a review on Nexus One. I haven't got much detail yet. But any one here want to be there to elaborate more Nexus? Coz I think they don't have problem getting all info about specs and such but I think someone need to explain to them what make Nexus One special.

Will update once I got more detail from them. Right now I don't want to disclose the station name as it's still in discussion.

some update about the radio review.

1. They said their reviewer is comfortable doing the review by him/herself, so they don't need someone here to assist the review. However, they might contact me for some contacts from the androids community for another segment of the show. Another plus for Androids Community.

2. They need to hold the review unit for about 2 weeks.

The bad news is, all I have is new units. Giving a unit to them for 2 weeks is quite costly as I have to sell the unit as 2nd hand. I was intended for them to plug my contact no or email at the end of the show, but they said the best that they can do is just credit my name, which is quite not what I've expected. Without the contact number/email, this doesn't worth the time.

The good news, if someone here can provide them with a unit of nexus one, they would be able to proceed with the review process. You will get your name credited and this will spurs more members for N1 community. So if someone has no problem to be apart with his N1 for 2 weeks, and get the change to be acquainted with someone from media, this is your chance.

If not, I think I have to cancel this project and all of us can return to happy life of hacking and rooting N1.

I'm sorry for not being able to go all the way for this. The best I can do now is to facilitate this review process.

I went to a Entreprenuer seminar with YTL Communication CEO (or managing director, i'm not sure) yesterday.

He said they are looking on androids to provide backbone for their one of their 4G devices. Also, he's expecting to have soft launch in 3rd quarter and commercial launch in 4th quarter. He said 4G Wimax is going to be a completely new experience for broadband users. He said YTL has a builder DNA, they delivery what they promise so the users won't be disappointed like current 3G/4G broadband users.

YTL Comm also made the biggest buy of Wimax chip in history (1 billion units) 2 days ago.

I'm emailling HTC USA for confirmation on this.
