I'm wondering... if I were to register with iValue 100 (500mb) and, in 1-2months, decide that i want to upgrade to iValue 155 (1gb). Is this possible? Will there be additional charges?

Someone pls answer my question...
is upgrading ivalue plan possible with no charge incurred?

Taiwan 3 telcos will launch iphone4 simultaneously Thursday this week. They have midnight launching as well to stir up the fire to ensure iphone4 get the headline. As predicted, it's sell like hot cake. I'm thinking if maxis can put a big flag that hang from top of menara maxis announcing iphone4 arrive in Msia that equally cool as well.

@zhengyang if your current number is a sub line of your auntie's account, then as far as Maxis is concerned you can't do ANYTHING with that number. You'd need your auntie, as the owner of the account, to do everything.

One possible alternative could be authorization letter with photocopy IC - I've done this before for helping my dad on his telekom fixed lines, don't know what Maxis policies are though.

For maxis transfer ownership,its better both parties walked in together coz both parties hav to fill up the same registration form..and rm50 per line (as transfer ownership fees) will be charged to the new account...cheers..

You can't upgrade on downgrade once you sign the plan bro

My number is the main line, just that the name is not under me. So i think i will try the authorization letter matter, i think last time i used this matter before to proceed something for maxis. Thanks

You may try that bro, but from what i know letter of authorisation only applicable for simple transaction like simcard replacement, change bill plan..cheers..

Ok I am quite confuse about the midnight launch. Let's say it launches at midnight 12am will it be only at midvalley/gardens or throughout all maxis centers around KL..? Also if I miss the midnight launch, does that meaning the following days I can just walk into any maxis center and buy the iphone 4..?

I'm sure just in KL only... Of course the next day you can go to buy the Iphone UNLESS all stock finished already. Once they sell the Iphone, the will sell it until Iphone 5 coming out. Not only 1 day of course.

singtel was launched with no walk-in purchase during the launch event, only person which invited by singtel to make the book can get the iphone during the event,

so i think maxis use the same method also??

Meaning those who plan to go and get the iPhone 4 like US won't be able to get it, as we aren't invited?

I think the chances will be less because US sell the iphone 4 at Apple Retail Store, so the US ppl line up outside the retail store.

Line up(or camp) at the front door of The Garden...? doesn't make sense.... so the chances of maxis use the way will be same like the sintel does
