If it's a midnight launch it means they'll only start selling the phones (officially) after the stroke of midnight. I think what @stringfellow means by the event is that something will happen to keep people in the queue bz until the clock strikes 12.

Now, for all those of U who's been waiting and have pre-registered, I guess common sense tells us there'll be an invitation waiting for U people soon to attend the function?

16gb wont exceed to price higher than RM2.5k we all onli hoping that it would be Rm2k but anyway thats all rumours gotta wait till Maxis release the price plan!

From experience, maxis wont launch iPhone without contract so fast, because limited stock.

no one knows its all rumours untill maxis launched its plan!

Well if they want to sell for contract only they better make sure they inform us CLEARLY. Things will get ugly for people lining up only to find they have to sell their soul to get it.

guys seriously this is not /K stop spamming here already. all redudant post like hey my credit card limit is 1.5 K, cannot wake up to go for launch, need my beauty sleep will be deleted, no1 wants to hear your personal struggles to get the iphone keep the info to yourself.

Well, with the stock shortages, they probably won't sell it without contract for this batch, IMO.

whats with the exaggeration? everything even loans are like a contract, you dont part your sould just your monthly pay. and maxis sends infos through emails and will update their website in due time, and this is not new pretty much everyone know the launce is exclusive to contract plans only, its been like this since iphone 3G and 3GS.
