Planning to get Iphone4 ...
- For myself, maybe with Maxis data plan (worth it?)
- My father, using his current company voice package
- My sister, who will be in in Thailand studying.

Do you think the iphone4 will suddenly start using the 3g service? Is there any way to turn that off if dont want (for father and sister). Suddenly the phone bill shoot up mati loh...

500mb seems like can go down very fast in 1 week... how much is ur typical maxis bill with 500mb package?

With iphone4 constantly on facebook and skype with notifications turned on.. and with the thing of Facetime.. I think 500mb is barely enough.

One of the reasons i'm buying this so family can video call my sister who is in Thailand. Hopefully skype will have video calling support in the near future...

I sent a msg to Maxis representative on when the pre-order will be open for iPhone4. Here's the reply:

"Maxis have said nothing on prebooking. We expect to start selling by end of sept. "

I really hope Maxis will have enough stock to cater to the demand.. very potong stim if suddenly out of stock. Come back next month.

Ok guys.. what are the things to check for when you're in Maxis with the iPhone 4. My list would go something like:
- No Scratches
- Screen OK
- Buttons working...

What else? This is my first iPhone so very very new at this...
