QUOTE(eichi-sama @ Mar 5 2010, 03:13 PM) How come when I ask at tmpoint, they said they charge rm 135 for new tm homeline and when I show her the brochure she replied "It's our procedure". Wut? RM135 is RM75 for activation fee, RM50 for installation fee and another rm10 is maybe for duty stamp(i'm not sure). For unipack package, that RM50 is waived. Different CS tell different stories maybe because they are not well-informed. Unipack is a rush promotion by TM after PM presented Belanjawan 2010 end of last year. QUOTE(reevephon @ Mar 5 2010, 07:25 PM) Same as mine, today went to Muzium TM Point that located @ Jalan Raja Chulan, the staff checked for me and said my area is not supported for 4mbps, then no choice, straight away register a new TM HomeLine + Streamyx CoolUniPack 1mbps because I want to own the netbook, but today the staff requested me to pay RM85 on the spot, may I know what fee was that? I'm too rushed today, so forgot to ask. Can some one explain to me about my 1st bill and 2nd bill need to pay how much? PS: I'm taking Streamyx 1mbps at my house since 3 years ago, and I can get 1.7mbps in speedtest.net and Tm Speedometer, so can I get back the same connection speed as my current 1mbps streamyx package? check previous page for 1st and 2nd bill.

QUOTE(the100308 @ Mar 5 2010, 07:52 PM) really? I asked my fren they say cause the whole apartment or area only got 80 ports, so after 80 residents signed up.. Then u r out, isit true? Yes, correct. Whether it's 384k, 512k, 1M, 2M or 4M bps, no port means no port. 4Mbps requires special consideration of good SNR margin to ensure low disconnection rates. QUOTE(amir89 @ Mar 5 2010, 07:53 PM) Can i know what's the easiest way to register other than to go to TMpoint? Nil.

So today I've paid RM85 in total, so what more should I pay for a new HomeLine + Cool UniPack besides the one I've paid today?

QUOTE(mfa333 @ Mar 4 2010, 04:15 PM) Assuming you are applying TM Unipack 4mbps new account (not upgrading from previous streamyx account): for 1st bill: RM10 for duty stamp RM50 for 1st month (50%) RM100 for 2nd month (like a deposit) 2nd bill onwards: RM100 If you apply new homeline: 1st bill: RM10 for duty stamp RM75 for homeline fee 2nd bill: RM50 for 1st month (50%) RM100 for 2nd month 3rd bill onwards: RM100 Hope this helps you. TM don't put everything in 1st bill because this package is for student. They know student doesn't want to spend so much money in 1 shot. From what you've declared above, I still have one doubt here, if I already paid the RM85 during registration @ TM Point(Applying new homeLine and UniPack), should I pay the RM10 for duty stamp RM75 for homeline fee again in the 1st bill?

Workmanship pay on the spot to the TM staff when they come to my house setting up streamyx or phone line?
