Guys,why dont just apply student package?
contract 1 year, 1mbps only for RM100 and 512kbs for RM50....
even 512kbps is better than 384Kbs...LOL....

Although cant get the netbook..mayb 2 years more the netbook only cost few hundred bucks only and need not to STICK with the contract! Am i right?LOL...

just what few post back someone said that if we got the HPmini already for 1 month & terminate the second month we get the HPmini for RM655 is that possible? anybody tried that? will they blacklist your name?

nope. u still have 23 months in ur contract which means penalty RM600 + remaining months of ur subsciption fees.

RM1635 for a netbook ???? is it worth ? coz the contract is 2 year

on second method, just walk in shop and but a netbook, free of any contract..... 

today went to tmpoint upgrade from RM90 combo to RM100 4mb student pack with my frd.
B4 tat we went to TMN DESA TMpoint. they say we need to terminate the existing streamyx acc and register the new Unipack package. To terminate the existing acc we need to wait for 30days.

Today I went to TMpoint Pandan Indah, They just upgrade the existing acc to new 4mb package in 5min. They told me, is ok if the existing streamyx acc is not belongs to u. if u terminate the existing acc there is a 30days waiting period to terminate your existing streamyx acc. and after terminate u might/might not got port anymore.... this guy said. nvr mind, I will do the upgrade from the existing acc without terminate anything... somemore even faster.

hi, I check from TM, those who still under other package contract can still upgrade to UniPack just that it must be is high speed compare your current package and u may not be able to change HSBB when they start releasing it since its come with laptop and modem

But TMpoint in my near  didn't terminate the account instead they directly upgrade from streamyx combo to streamyx unipack which is not a student name and tat is my frd dad.

that guys say, is ok, i help u to upgrade directly from the exist owner without termination. If u terminate and re-apply. then there is a period to wait. ( 30days ) and wait for 5days to apply the new streamyx again. and there is also a probability if the area no port for u... then u GG since u terminate 30days ago.
So we applied on Thursday and Today (waited <48hrs), TM contractor went to his hse and check SNR margin.

2. It cost more to maintain 2 numbers if I want to keep the old number alive

from the info i get from the TM is just the installation fees for the new phone line , cost around rm75deposit and rm10stamp duty, after that no charge as the line is oni for the streamyx usage(no call allowed), didnt mention anything about extra charges for old number .... anyone to clarify????
