Ok just applied just now. damn many ppl want to apply. wait nearly 1 and half hour.

1st I check with them if there is a port for 4mbps in my area. TM said got but no port available. TM put me in the waiting list but..

In the meantime, TM put me in 1mbps but for 1mbps, ports are available but not in my distance and recieve error. (what?! then why all this years I can apply 1mbps? Owh. maybe this is the reason my 1mbps is slow?) So TM requested technician to repair the distance prob around this week.

I also asked do I need to pay more when upgrade from 1mbps to 4mbps for Streamyx Cool Uni later? TM said NO, just pay like in the promotion.

Then another thing, TM said it takes 2 weeks for the netbook to arrive coz want to verify with IPTA/IPTS (so what TM really means, 1 week to verify with IPT and 1 week for HP to send? )

yup. should can. but some other things will cancel like hypptunes downloads.

I think urs like some ppl prob.

If Im not mistaken

1. Have to cancel old streamyx
2. Have to wait 1 month quarantine (got someone said can reduce the days)
3. Then can apply Streamyx Cool Uni

or

1. Apply new homeline
2. Apply Streamyx Cool Uni

and to TM Staffs, basically you all should know that, TM staffs also got free netbooks with their own promotion.

can. u will still charge with the cool uni promotion price. I already for mine b'coz my 4mbps port is not available.

in my case, I need to bring my mom's ic (the homeline owner), lucky that photocopy of IC can. and I manage to find somewhere at home since my mom already went outstation.

mine still not yet installing streamyx. 3 - 7 days. but already called them to fast things up.

u can call TM or when u apply, u can ask if ur place supported yet.

just got a call from TM, man they take their 7 days working days fully. took them 7 days working days to check if I can get the port available for 4mbps for my house but in the end still cant. so have to use 1 mbps first. and later upgrade it.

so now just waiting for the installer this week, and waiting for the netbook after that.

Finally TM installer came and install the modem. Only got 1mbps coz my area dont support 2,4mbps coz too far.

When I ask how the speed for 1mbps? He said should be 70/80% but TM put my port high.

He also said my netbook should come around 10 days, but usually less, around 3 days?

Lets wait for it next week

Took 7 Working Days to check if they can hook me with 4mbps since there is no port available at that time for my area. At the exact 7 days, TM call and said confirm the fiber wire cant reach my area so they hook me with 1mbps.

So its 7 days (to check and comfirming if I can get 4mbps), 1 day (the next day the installer came with modem)

Mine is new application but using old (my parents) homeline. Terminated since a year ago coz streamyx is SCREAMYX because of the so called underground cable sea problem.

1mbps unfortunately

no available port and distance. then after 7 days of checking, really cant get 4mbps coz too far

I did ask about HSBB from the installer. He said high speed internet and tv channel. price less than RM200 per month

Finally I got to test with Speedtest.net

call the installer. even installer we got warranty. call the guy and ask.

Delivery date updated will recieve it next week. (it sure takes time for mine )
