thats one thing..maybank wont simply approve applicants..they will check very thoroughly..first timer cc applicants can hardly get maybankard at the first try..

If your salary goes into MBB, it'll be easier.

I got my MBB CC pretty easy.

I'm talking about MBB not RHB. We're always here that MBB CC is hard to get. I'm trying to highlight that if your salary goes into MBB, the chance will be higher.

Even if my salary is credited to my mbb acc,i didn't wana apply for maybank cc..their only useful card is the ikhwan petronas cc..

It will be easier to apply back RHB..because they can check from ur savings acc..so thats your proof of income..

but RHB credit cards...hmm... hmm.gif

Bear in mind that some cards do not need activation nowadays. That means once approved, you will be charged RM50 service tax immediately regardless of whether you agree to use them or not.

Well you can apply frm RHB and use it for abt 6 mths then use that card to apply another bank..

By book, they want an existing card used for at least 1 year.

I used my cimb paypass(used half a year only) to apply citibank card..approved.. biggrin.gif

but i think other banks need 1 year..

so yup,they are pretty carefree.. blush.gif
