Hahaa.. Hopefully we won't have another CBU vs CKD war on our hand. Why not from now on, we all agree that the car is CKD. A very high quality CKD, like the Peugeot 407 and 308 Turbo. If we all stop mentioning the word 'CBU', hopefully we won't have this kind of useless argument about things that none of us can confirm.

I dont care its CBU, CKD or CCB or CRY ! haha , everyday i saw u all so happy coolected ur cars, i feel so happy for it !!! congrats. But those who in the same ship as me (2.0) we still pray alot or dream everynite . But im sure no matter how or when. I think its worth waiting for some times ! Cause Forte is a worth buying CAR !!!!! sometimes we cant push too much, will end up bad quality built. Get wat i mean ? let them do their work, as long dont cross over line make me scold the word "CCB". LOLX

in Pahang also i saw alots of CBK and CBL
last week saw a Forte near Sunway Pyramid, that was Kia logo, instead of Naza

Let me share my experiance regarding Naza dealer Ampang point

Pay booking fee for the car on 26/11
loan approve on 4/12
D/P paid on 4/1
inform will receive the car within a week
up until now 15/1/10 still waiting my clear white 1.6SX (Don't even call @ SMS to update me on new info)
promise to let me test drive the car but later told me the test unit is not available after i paid the booking fee.
Now i don't care either CBU @ CKD as long as i can got my lovely forte ASAP
but if you looking for black @ silver they have ready stock from 1st 400 batch. This what they are told me when i ask about my lovely forte

For those who so care about CBU, can wait for "CBU"

No point going to 1U then...

Actually 470KM with around 30km before empty ... but i would say 20% highway and 80% city/jam drive.

Added on January 15, 2010, 6:00 pmIt depends on how tall is the driver/passanger and how much you push the front seat to the back. For me i am around 173CM ... rear legroom is good ... my friend who is around 185CM sits at the back comfortably.

how come your ODO can count below 50KM?
some said below 50 will show -- only. in manual also said like that.

i never reach below 50KM before empty yet...

One thing to add to my cons list posted few days ago:
The lack of a rear central headrest....

Drove my 2.0 on the highway today.... engine noise is barely noticeable, wind noise is of moderate volume but on par with the Civic. The ThetaII is much more refined and relaxed (2.1-2.2k rpm at 100kmh) compared to the i30's aging Beta (2.5-2.6k rpm).

My odometer showed 290km at approximately half tank. Assuming that the needle is accurate when the tank is half full (26L), that amounts to approximately 8.97L/100km... The car's computer calculations have been dropping from 14 to the current 10.5L/100km and is starting to plateau; hence I think the FC will be probably be around 9-11L/100km... A bit off from the claimed 7.9, but that is expected.

The audio system is better than most of the stock systems in the Forte's rivals. I'm not sure whether Kia threw in a subwoofer or not since the bass of most songs sound very deep. Not enough to shake your windows like aftermarket woofers of course, but heavy enough to boom your eardrums. Set the volume above 6 and other drivers will think you're having a party in your car.

oh sorry actually i drive till the ODO ---- then i drive another 20KM before going for petrol ... so should have 30KM left
