p/s : when my wife saw this car straight away she gave me rm5k as a 'wang ihsan' to pay a d/p... walaauuuuu...

affin? aisey is it easy to pay monthly installment to them coz their brch not so many...
i don't have a cheque...

maybe i'll try cimb coz my 2 current car (and 1 previous) under them...
can nego a bit coz flawless monthly repayment...

question... if i trade in my old car to them, how to prevent them from changing the trade-in value? coz need to wait so long...
my brother in law already facing this type of prob... he trade-in his old car with agree price.
suddenly when the car arrive, SA said need to top-up another RM2K coz the his old car re-sale value drop...
can i prepare a agreement letter? at least can use at tribunal if they cheat me...

only 2-3 customers (and all 'lepak' at forte)
so straight away get an opportunity to test drive...
hmphhh... test drive only 1.6 EX but already speechless... how about 2.0 SX...? double speechless ?
the salesman can do a FI style driving in shop/house area...
wow so good la the handling...
before this i doubt torsion beam performance compare to multilink... now i don't want to say anything...

ok will book 2.0 SX later coz still want to figure out how to sell out my avanza 06 auto... (any buyer here... )

my avanza already 3.5 years old w/out any problem at all (minor pun takde)...
1st 3 service sent to toyota...
4th until today just go to my 'trusted' workshop... (void warranty)
engine oil use syntium 800 (semi) coz my bro work at petronas so get discount price (every 5k km)
oil filter bought from my 'trusted' spare part shop... (every 5k km)
change gear oil front/back & air filter at 40k km (once)
aircond still cool & never service yet...
the rest still standard... now mileage 55k km...
now it's time to say goodbye coz of this forte...

so suppose forte should be 'mind free' if avanza can last long up to 3.5 years...

bcoz i travel a lot on the hway (balik kg kl > kedah) and running 4-4.5k rpm of coz a lot of noisy
i agree below 3k the sound should be good.

1. downgrade the rim to 16" and used quiet tyre (at least 55 or 60 series...)

latest info from my SA...


so i decided to book 2 unit (1.6 & 2.0) whichever come 1st i'll take... then SA will refund back 1k coz cancel either one...
but i made small agreement with my SA, asked him to sign...
at least has a something to proof...

basically there're 2 defect...

a) defect can detect on the spot when KIA QA test it...
ie... knock knock sound, water enter inside the bonet, aircond not function, etc...
above issue, QA team can reject the car before export

b) defect can't detect on the spot when KIA QA test it...
ie... similar what 4te facing... they start the engine let's say 50 times and no prob at all so how they want to know there's a prob when reach at 4te?
so they can't reject it coz for them no issue at all...

before send to SC make sure record a video to simulate what is happen coz when u arrive there, the prob maybe not appear at all. at least with the video u can show them.

my previous satria 10 years ago facing temp high (near redline). just bough only 3 months. 10 years ago hp can't capture video so no proof. when sent to SC, 2 hours try to simulate the prob but the temp is maintain below half so SC said 'no prob with your car'...
go back home suddenly temp increase again... go back to SC... as usual nothing happen but force them to replace the thermostat sensor. after replace, think prob settle but after few months happen again...
tension... sell the car... problem solved...

anyway i still hope my faith with forte... hope no prob with me... hehehe...

my SA allowed me booking the car both 1.6sx & 2.0sx w/out need to pay RM1K... fully recommended... hehehe...
but of course need to choose either one whichever come 1st...
