The black NAZA wheel cap just spoil the nice rim, IMHO the wheel cap should be the 2nd thing to change (1st would be the emblems)

Anyone interested in the original KIA wheel cap? Please refer to the attached photo. The price for one set (4 pieces) is RM140 (COD or +RM6 PostLaju) if we can get 10sets or more. I am planning to organize a group buy but before that I would like to check with those who have collected your lovely Forte whether is the NAZA wheel cap a real wheel cap or just NAZA sticker pasted on the KIA wheel cap? If it is a sticker then no point organising the group buy cos we can simply remove the sticker

Added on December 21, 2009, 1:17 am QUOTE(jimmy.soo @ Dec 21 2009, 01:07 AM) walau.... all related to money money money lol I would agree with you that its a bit pricey, but it depends on personal preference. I just cannot tahan the NAZA emblem and black wheel cap. If it is silver NAZA wheel cap, then i might save the RM140 for other stuff dont u guys think its a little bit expensive for this small little thing? lol when ur car is running, u wont even see a thing in the middle This post has been edited by 4te: Dec 21 2009, 01:17 AM |

Fortelover,
Thanks for your confirmation. I was really hopping that its just a sticker fortebart, As per the supplier, it is for Forte, which means it matches the silver colour rim. So I dont think it is a standard wheel cap for all KIA. BTW, i just got a reply from the supplier that if we are buying 20 or more sets, the price would be RM134 (COD and +6 for PosLaju). I will start a group buy post soon. |

Fortelover,
Does the metallic colour of the wheel cap (as per the attached photo in my post) match the colour of the rim? Just want to confirm that it matches the rim's colour before starting the group buy ... Thanks in advance ya |

Hi guys, agree with you that its a bit inconvenient and costly if one cap lost and need to buy another one to replace and a standard wheel cap would be more cost effective. I just checked with the supplier and it is packed individually, so if one is lost, you may just buy one to replace, but didnt ask for the price of just one cap.
BTW, if anyone is interested in getting the original KIA wheel cap (as shown in the attached photo and a set of 4 pieces), please PM me and the price is: Less than 10 sets: RM145 10 or more sets: RM140 20 or more sets: RM133 The price above is COD Penang and please add RM6 for PosLaju. I will keep this group buy open till end of next week 2nd Jan 2010 and place order accordingly on the following week. I will update you all on the qty ordered from time to time so that you know the final price to pay. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(python @ Dec 23 2009, 09:35 PM) Where did you book your Forte? Juru Autocity branch or Macalister Road branch? ... I booked at Macalister Road branch and was asked to pay but didn't pay. initially they insisted that i have to pay, but after calling the careline my SA said no need to pay. If they insist that you have to pay, then tell them that you will call careline to check cos many didn't pay. |

QUOTE(python @ Dec 24 2009, 09:36 AM) This is really absurd, why only the Penang (Macalister Road and Juru) Sales Branches are charging this RM150!!! Please call careline to file your complaint and hopefully HQ will take action ASAP to stop this unfair treatment and take stern action against those who are profiting from the RM150!!! |

Thanks Phelix, Julz, iluvena, Fortelover, DevilsForte
Julz, I joined MyFORTE club dy but since didn't have my baby yet, so didnt post anything. I will post the photo of my Forte tomorrow cos camera with gf. Today I tested uphill (small hill at Jalan Yap Choy Yee and also Jalan Delima) and it was powerful enough to me and i didnt really step on it hard. As compared to my Spectra, a lot lot more powerful and as compared to my gf's Latio Sport, slightly less responsive. If you are wondering, both my gf and I add up to around 130KG and only two of us in the car, didn't try 4 adults uphill yet. I went up Cameron Highlands twice with my Spectra without problem but of course very high FC, so i think Forte will do a lot better BTW, I was a bit shocked when i saw that the 30km/h and 50km/h on the speedometer without any light and was very disappointed for the defect, but after checking Forte.my and the broucher, well it is by purpose and not a defect ... anyone know the reason for not lighting up 30km/h and 50km/h? Another thing is the power window buttons for back passanger are without any light, not like the driver and front passanger (with red light) right? Thanks a lot for your clarification, i knew that it should be made that way for a purpose. Will try it when i test soon, haven't read the user manual on that part, so just use D at the moment been really hard to catch up these days... too many pages...haaa.. its exploding!! btw, about the mark at the speedo.. it shows the minimum speed for up shifting on manual... 30 for 3rd gear and 50 for 4th... tried and tested.. unless MY ECU programs is different.. try it.. nothing happen if you up shift below 30 to 3rd gear... nice rite?? btw.. happy X'mas and New Year 2010 to all!!!! Anyone interested in Wingard Royale? I have compared Forte stock tint with my gf's Latio 3M tint (dont know which range but should be higher range), and there is really a difference, the Latio is not as hot as Forte. As I have confirmed and decided to go for the Wingard Royale tint next Saturday, I negotiated a special price with my friend for our members here till 31-Jan-10
Brand: Wingard Royale (Highest Range) Warranty: 10 Years Film: Block Heat and Security, 2 in 1 film. VLT: 60% UVR: 99% IRR: 90% TSER: 60% JPJ Compliance Smart Tag and GPS Friendly Installation: No need to remove door panel. Location of the Shop: Butterworth, Penang. More Info: http://www.tintgallery.com/html/wingard.asp Video on the Security feature: http://www.tintgallery.com/html/video/wingard.html Normal Price: RM2000+ Promotion Price: RM1800 Special Price: RM1*** For those who are from Penang/Northern Region and interested to join us for the group buy, please PM me for the Special Price (Sorry cannot disclose the special price here cos other dealers might not be happy). For those who are interested but not yet receive your Forte, no worries, you may pay RM200 deposit to lock the price. I will post the receipt for the deposit to you or you may collect it from me whichever is more convenient to you |

QUOTE(0hmyg0d @ Dec 27 2009, 12:39 PM) the correct way to take out the cap is . 1st.. jack up ur car, unscrew and take out ur whole tyre.. Thanks a lot for the info. I was trying to remove the cap using small screw driver with tape on the screw driver to avoid scratching the rim, but after 15mins trying even with two screw drivers, i gave up. then u can take out the cap easily by "poking" at the cap from inside.. Added on December 28, 2009, 12:46 am QUOTE(uputra81 @ Dec 27 2009, 05:06 PM) Hi, its original Hyundai Mobis part and imported from Korea. Since I couldn't find it else where and the one on eBay is black KIA wheel cap, which i dont like and selling for USD8 including shipping (RM27). i think the Forte original cap with an additional RM5.50 is reasonable (RM130/4) . That's why I really hope to get 10 sets to save on the cost too Added on December 28, 2009, 12:48 amWELL DONE Logankrishnan I like No. 2 ... wondering is it possible to remove the © (copyright sign) at top right conner and change the tag line from "Attitude is Everything" to "Leaves You Speechless"? Not sure how much would cost for one additional cap. BTW, although the wheel cap is unlikely to fall out (i was trying so hard to dig it out using 2 srew drivers and failed), I plan to keep one or two as spare as well. Lets see what are the total sets and how many want a spare cap and we can divide 4 caps with RM145 or RM130 Thanks! |
