What I mean is they have totally no stock for the car. If they have stock, I don't mind to put in the money for waiting to allocate.
just like the feeling of the person who book 2.0, everything paid, but stock not even appear and need wait.
I play safe, if keep no stock, then I still can pull my money to buy another car. Not giving them money to spend and asking me to wait.
It is a chicken and egg situation like Victor has mentioned. If you decided to go for this car, and for better chance of car allocation, you are strongly advised to pay your down payment. We all know the 1k booking means nothing.
But again, you are right, if there is no car, even though you pay for down payment, you won't be getting one like me, and the rest of 2.0(SX).
Let say, the next batch has few hundred of units, and you are the one who didn't pay d/p earlier vs those who paid, who has better chance of getting the car? May not be you.
I think the situation is tough, demand > supply. You want the car, then you pay for allocation no matter there is stock or no, coz end of the day you still want the car. Unless you are frustrated with this kind of situation, then you better pull out and opt for other car.
No point hanging in there with 1k booking, hope/pray for stock availability, then only pay your d/p. I believe you will be on the queue until demand < supply.
