By the way, loking at the pics of latest progress above, I thought i saw both piling frames with hammer type as well as the hydraulic jack-in type. Or is it just hammer type piling frame and the other larger machine is actually for static load test?

Brianchinh or tzemania, can u guys confirm these? Looking at the position of the piling frames, and if my memory serves me right, it is actually near Petronas, perhaps at the Tower 1 location or the carpark block.

But it's rather strange if they choose to work on the carpark / club house area first, as the main towers will be the one requiring most time to build. Also, normally ppl will choose to construct from inside out, instead of from outside inward, as this will block the logistics access.

Anyway, they still have 2.5 years, and 5 block of these structures can be done very comfortably within this period, so need not panic on the late-starting works. I saw on the brochure that there blocks are actually on precast wall system, which the construction progress will be very fast if they really pour in more resources.

well i think the one u see is actually the shoplots ones... not the condo one yet.... i only see 2 of those hammer type one when i pass by....

Yea, have to see from the second entrance which is behind the petronas n you will have clearer picture. Looking at it piling should be for tower 1 or carpark area. Its hydraulic hammer and not jack in type, coz mbpj do not impose such requirement its very costly. Arrangements of concrete blocks are for pile test at shoplot area. As for the precast shear wall system i couldnt recall seeing it in brochure, but if thats the case, it will shorten the construction period significantly!
