QUOTE(shoduken @ Dec 16 2009, 04:35 PM) Yesterday I went to TMPoint, settle everything upgrading my 1.5mbps(1mbps package but they free upgrade me because I'm 6 years user) to 4 mbps application. She said 3 working days. You have to wait 24-48 hours to get full speed...........IINM 4mbit line uses ip dslam...........Today my adsl keep blinking already 2 times, with 1 hour interval each. After the second time, my line from 1.5mbps become 2mbps line and my ping from 50-60ms went down to 15ms this is perfect. But it only become 2mbps. So I guess there's 2 more days to go until they called me to test my line? =D Now testing at speedtest.net, download is only 1.59mbps =.=!! Again i test using downloader that search for parrellel for maximum speed i can hit 2.25mbps. Do we need any setting or the default setting of our modem can support up to 8mbps? She said 3 working days. I think they'll increase the cap to 2MB within 24 hours of your application. Then you have to wait for the technician to come to your place and increase the cap to 4MB and testing it in the process. If your line can support it, only then will he fix the cap. Then its 24 to 48 hours from that point for you to get your new speed.Today my adsl keep blinking already 2 times, with 1 hour interval each. Hmm, TM guy called me this morning and asking how the speed like .. hehe.. I thought he already got the info from the technician .. guess not.. asked the guy, why can't the tech. increased the speed of the port at Sg Buloh while the rest could do that? I guess the tech. at Sg Buloh needs to be sent for further training ..
Anyway, do you know that TM is now using P1 Speed Test for testing the 4Mbps speed? Anything above 3200kbps is considered ok according to them.. Ouchh.. P1 = POTONG? .. tak takut kena potong ka? |

Is it me or is my download speed dropped. Currently I am downloading things @ mere 200 Kilobytes/sec. Guess I've used too much of bandwidth
