Sihum, you can't use prog scan on S-Video - the reason being you'll need a direct component connection TO the TV. So better save the money and don't get the component-svideo adapter.

My friend has the cable, the only thing I need to buy is the component cables.

So what you mean to say is that, even if the Wii DID have a S-video cable, it wouldn't be able to output 480p?

The cable(adapter as they call) is actually a 3 video signal(the component colors) to S-video.

So I thought of 'testing' it like this.. From Wii component video, through the 'component to S-video adapter', to the TV.

Still cannot? TV/Wii won't like/accept?

^ S-video will only carry a 480i signal and not 480p.

Yup, it's a limitation of the S-video bandwidth itself. It'll only carry 480i AKA Astro.

The BX series is the previous model. The latest would be the A series. I guess the salesman wanted to clear the old stock heh heh heh

bro rx330,i've a question here.
My budgets are around RM3000,
if you were me,which model below that u will choose.
Bravia 26" V300A,and Bravia 32" S310
both of them with all the same capabilities,
just V300A comes together with the Live Colour Creation function,
is it very important?

hey, is there any noticeable difference to the naked eye between a 40" full HD and a 40" non-full HD?
