anyone face problem on using public bank debit card at the public bank ATM? For example like the ATM eject the card and stated invalid card after u insert it into ATM

Is it ATM or CDT (Cash Deposit Terminal) ?

Some Public Bank CDT are not set to read your ATM/debit chip card, so it won't be able to read the information stored in your ATM/debit card. The CDT will displays a message saying that your card is invalid.

But if this happens at an ATM, most likely there is something wrong with your ATM/debit card and you will need to get a replacement card.

My debit card can be use at ATM and CDT one or two months ago...both also can login. Now i try at ATM and CDT at my town, both display as invalid card...then i go to try public bank ATM and CDT at other town (20KM away ), ATM can be use and withdraw but CDT display invalid card. Wondering what happening as i only use the card for 6 months and i usually put the card inside plastic card case, only use less than 10 times since i apply and get it. Maybe next time i need to direct withdraw through bank counter at my town

any dirt/ oxidized on chip's surface?

no even single dirt as i always put it inside the plastic case and it is still very new...the customer service lady even use the rubber eraser to clean the chip...but still the same result

The CDT displayed your card as invalid because that particular CDT are not set to read ATM card. Actually all CDT can be configured to read ATM card, just that the bank staff did not activate the feature.

Anyone has more informations regarding this newly launched RHB Bank VISA debit card ? The design of the card is identical to the exising RHB Bank Cash-Connect debit Mastercard, albeit with a different color and card shape.

The 2% cash back is only temporary. Anyone knows what is the normal cash back rate ? How much is the annual fee ? Does pumping fuel entitle for cash back too after the promotional period etc. ?

Could be RM15/pa, just like their current Cash Connect debit Mastercard and My Cash-i debit Mastercard. Apparently all purchases including petrol will earn you 2% cash back until 31 March 2010. However we couldn't find any information how much is the cash back after the promotional period.

I see, I just convert from Cash Connect Debit Mastercard to their normal ATM card due to some Maybank ATM can't recognise the card and Jusco Wangsa Maju also don't accept this debit card.
