Total newbie here. Just applied for a PB Day2Day debit card today. Just to double check, under 18 can't check balance online? I mean do any transaction online? Cant seem to verify by visa enrollment. And to identify MEPS ATM? Just the logo?

Yes. You can still check your balance online even if you are under 18. You can activate it through the ATM (read the instructions on their website first before you go to their ATM) or apply for online banking inside the branch.



You should check if all informations entered are correct. Please note that you should be able to enroll for Verified by VISA even if your online banking is not activated.

as long as the debit card can be used for online shopping,there will be no problem at all because it acts like a credit card.previously,i had alliance bank debit card.i tried to use it for my insurance payment but they said their terminal (or something like that) cannot detect my card number.so,what i think is,since alliance bank debit card doesn't has the online payment function(like credit card),so you can't use the auto-debit function.i remember PBVE can be use for auto debit for insurance also.

I dunno how you can use autodebit for PBVE and PB's ING debit card Cause I've e-mailed Hong Leong and Public Bank to ask about auto debit for debit cards.

Just sharing with everybody, I manage to do online booking with my maybank debit card for the room at Genting.
I tried with public bank day2day debit card at first but fail.

Hmm ... my friend managed to book a room successfully at First World Hotel just a few weeks ago using his Public Bank Day2Day VISA debit card. Still remember it because his dad didn't want to give him a supplementary card. So i asked him to convert his blue colored Public Bank ATM card to the new Public Bank Day2Day VISA debit card
