Indeed there is.

Platinum debit Mastercard
- RM20,000 of deposit
- 1.50% rebate
- Rebate applicable only for spending up to RM6,000/month

Premier debit Mastercard
- RM200,000 of deposit (Privilege Banking customer)
- 2% rebate
- Rebate applicable only for spending up to RM9,000/month

This card is already in the market far longer than most other debit cards but somehow it is not very popular with Malaysians.
*
It is out of this world.
If you have 20K would you keep it inside a bank?

And need to spend 6K monthly to get rebate.
This is only for the rich people. But then again, the rich doesn't need these rebate anyway. whistling.gif

I swipe my Public Bank Day2day debit card inside counter for RM50 petrol at Esso.
But when I check my balance, it deducted RM51.
Why so?
Or there is a surcharge of RM1 for the transaction? rclxub.gif

My balance is just update.
Current balance: RM 950.00
Available balance: RM 949.00

oh,i see.so i read the selling rate for currency exchange,usd1=rm3.26
the thing i bought,USD46=RM150.i know that paypal will charge additional RM3 because the item i bought is less than rm400,so the total should be RM153, and why RM157.5 pb charge me?
if the item is more than rm400,it is free from bank withdraw charge.

haiz,im so noob...should have buy paypal fund from other ppl with cheaper rate.
so the 1.25% admin charge of usd46?that means RM1.88 admin charge?
*
That is why people buy / sell paypal fund over here once upon a time ago.
It's a win win situation for both the seller and the buyer because to avoid the unnecessary charges / fees.
Too bad this forum banned this trading already.

p/s: anyone need paypal fund just drop me a PM. tongue.gif

My PB day2day card was blocked by the bank.
Apparently they stated that too many transaction in a day. sweat.gif
I don't think got even 5 transactions that day.

But their customer service phone number is hopeless.
Nobody answer the phone and you have to listen to the machine and music while your phone credits drains away. mad.gif

Finally they called me back to verify. Saying security purpose. Scared card stolen.

If I open a basic saving account from public bank, can I have Day2Day debit card to link to my basic saving account?
*
yes, you can. smile.gif
I just did that a month ago. you need to deposit RM250 for a start and also pay them extra RM12 for the card. Yearly after that will be deducted from your balance.

Hi guys, will I be penalised for removing the CVV at the back of my card? I guess it's safer to memorise and remove CVV, just in case you lost your card...
*
Nope. You do not need the code to swipe your card anywhere.
Even if it's stolen, the person can still swipe the card.

The code is only needed during online purchases. but then again, now already got extra security as a verification purpose.

I am not sure whether all branches also like that, but I can say the branches near my town is not meet my satisfication, expecially the 'infront' counter person who responsible for assign number, working attitude not good as everytime his face very dark, never smile, most important thing is his working attitude! I think it is better for them to put a small machine that giving ' number' , like others bank do. some of thier branches also using that machine, but this branch near my town(no MB in my town) has no such thing.
*
I think all maybank branches will have to go to the person at the counter for your number.
I do not know why maybank make it that way.

This is quite out of debit cards, but, wanna know.
How many days does it take for interbank money transfer? (CIMB to Maybank)?

Thank you.. wink.gif
*
To be more precise,
transfer before 1130H on a working day, same day will credited into the other bank account.

if transfer after 1130H, will be the next working day.

PB visa electron is the best card I got . Not problem . CIMB emastercard was quite lousy , sometime , transaction declined even though got enough sum in it .
*
You mean public bank day2day debit card?
I'm using that now. Rebate is good. At least one year can get back the RM12 charges for the annual fees.

MilesAndMore,

I saw this in PBB's web and it says the annual fee for D2D card is RM8.

http://www.pbebank.com/en/en_content/perso...ates/cards.html

So it is 8 or 12?
*
This is a very good news. I think it's the best debit card to have actually. smile.gif

I tried with public bank day2day debit card at first but fail.

Okay, maybe I did key in something wrongly when I use my public bank day2day debit card.

But seriously the genting room booking is so unsecured.
They didn't even ask for the back 3 digit CV code and also the security password. Just your name, card number, type of card, and expiry date of your card is needed.
