What's the different of Charge & Credit card?

Unlike credit card, charge card doesn't come with a preassigned credit line. However it doesn't mean you can simply charge any amount into your charge card.

If your charge card is still very new it is possible that your transaction will be declined after your outstanding reach certain amount. This is what happened to my mom's Green Charge Card early this year and her card's outstanding was only a mere RM1000+. They will monitor your spending pattern. Second or third month into using her charge card, we no longer faced the same issue about our charge cards being declined. Mom bought something in Isetan and charged RMxxxx into the card and it went through smoothly

Tried my Amex at Esso Juru Penang last weekend... but, FAILED!!!

Usually, I don't have problem to use Amex at any Esso/Mobil...

most of the petrol kiosk dont accept amex nowaday...even some of workshop only accept visa and master...i try at TNB to pay bills also fail...

I don't know which petrol station you go to but I've had no problems using my Amex CC to make petrol payments.

I usually pump at either Caltex or Shell and thus far, no issues with my Amex. The only damn issue I'm having is that when I want V-Power there's no V-Power, just 97 or 95. Then when I want 97 there's no 97, just V-Power or 95 ! *iSh*

i not sure which koisk but i use amex to pump petrol at shell klg valley with no problem at all.

Definitely no problem at SHELL and Caltex/ESSO. So to all AMEX Gold credit card users, just switch to the Dutch/British and American petrol stations and you won't face any problem ever again

just plan ur petrol in advance lo...
pump at the end of the day at your prefered / identified Shell Petrol station.
